Well that's good that you could use this idea mine has been on all summer on a timer comes on now and then keeps the basement dry when it's humid.
Good idea. I have some drains in my basement that you can smell sewer gas or something from them. They drain is right under a window. I built one of these and man my basement smells way better now.
