The "prompt & accurate" requirements, require applicants to only use a Lawyer to fill in any forms, this always costs thousands. My wife was from India. Many UK Citizens can not bring their spouses to the UK . . . full Stop
Describe the idigenous. I know who the British are, but if you don't make it clear when you mention them; statements about our situation fall flat because there's no identity to sympathize with.
That includes local shops with overpriced shit on every shelf, since Asians took the shops, prices have shot up as they buy up the cash n carry to and Asdas
You are absolutely correct. I am british: my family are also british for more generations than we know. I married my wife abroad, we had to have certified translations of the marriage certificate, provide financial details to a crazy level of accuracy and documentary evidence; she already spoke perfect english, has a degree, no criminal record, etc., etc. we had to provide details of her family addresses, ages, etc just as you did. It took over 7 years many thousands of pounds, including paying for british medical care in advance (never used), many different visa applications, interviews, references, language tests, the ridiculous life in UK test, even more proof of financial stability with no access to public funds. We even had to provide photos of us from 10 years ago to prove we even knew each other. Eventually she got the “Indefinite Leave to Remain” visa and recently after yet another round of more applications and costs a british passport. After all this and what’s happening to this country, we may decide to go and live somewhere else. It is infuriating that thousands get here without any of this and even after criminal acts are allowed to stay and be paid for by us.
My wife is Thai and living in Thailand, I'm working in the UK. I can't be bothered with the hassle of trying to bring her here. Instead, I'll go there.
I had a similar experience. My wife was South African of Scottish descent, and we went all the way through the interminable nit-picking proper channels. While mired in bureaucracy during the early stages a Home Office official even advised me to bring her here on a tourist visa, and change it to a work permit then apply for leave to remain permanently. He said that was how he got in, and that it would be quicker and simpler.
And those who voted for any of the big five parties as it was them that prevented the parties pushing for change getting in. Far far too many people voted Tory when they had a viable Reform candidate for example. The Tories hate the British people more than Labour do. They had 17 years to undo Blair's damage and instead made it worse and yet many older people still stupidly voted for these traitors.
Spent 18 yrs in the forces, Northern Ireland, Bosnia, Kosovo and 4 middle east tours......the waiting list to see a NHS dentist in my area is 3 months. Those who come illegally are getting better care than those who fought for this country.....
My goodness! Your lovely wife was brave going through all of that scrutiny for the love and happiness with you that she had to fight for to achieve. Thank you Blackbeltbarrister for sharing with us your truly personal story, most appreciated, God bless you and your family ❤❤❤
Same situation as you, thousands spent on that process. Our children were born overseas so it’s also £1214 to register them as British citizens. I’m not a little bit frustrated, I’m livid at how the taxes I pay are used to
In the space of 15 months my town now resembles a gigantic refugee centre statistically violent crime sexual assaults have dramatically risen, but you can go to prison for pointing out the ginormous elephant in the room…
This isn't about making Britain safer. This is about keeping tabs on your citizens so you can control every aspect of their life so that they basically have no private life.

My best friend married a South African girl who had lived and worked in the UK under a work visa for 3 years. She had to go back to SA and was not allowed back in the country until she obtained her Visa. My friend spent years getting her back in the country. He spent a fortune. He had to prove he earned enough, that she would not claim any benefits, she had to sit exams to prove she could speak English and knew British history. He had to provide years of personal emails and other contact info to prove he knew her. Its insulting that randoms from all over the world with zero connection to the UK and who cannot speak English are allowed in, given a house with maximum benefits if they enter illegally.
I wouldn't have a problem with that if that was the case for all immigrants. The issue is it's currently objectively easier, and more profitable to enter this country as an illegal immigrant, than it is using the legal channels. It's absurd, and should be the opposite.
I suspect many who came under student visa, are now the very people defending the human rights of these "hoop avoiders" . Double edged sword indeed, obviously we would want to keep hold of the students after completion, but for them to then spin round and work hard at the detriment of our country. Just a theory though 🤔
When ENOUGH people stand up and say No, then the establishment has no power. Sadly, the problem is getting enough to stop being apathetic and actually say No. .
I (English) married an Argentine and we moved temporarily to Australia. When we investigated the process noted by BBB to move to the UK, we decided that it simply wasn't worth the cost, stress, and effort. Essentially, this outweighed the benefit of my family and our shared friends! How sad...
I was recently working with an engineer from India, he was very highly skilled, the sort of person we need, but is now leaving the UK. One of the things that mentioned to me on his last day in that office was that he was very unhappy that having sweated blood to study here and pursue immigration options, he was now paying huge amounts of tax to support people who were arriving without any documentation or verification.
Sumilar story. I'm a professional, lived, worked and paid taxes in England for 14 years, now returned to Poland. Got priced out of London, the rents are a joke. I love England though, hope it'll survive the immigration crisis 🤞
He wasn't paying huge amounts of tax to support people with no documentation though was he? Undocumented migrants make up a fraction of what you get taxed for. Paying the huge pensions Ponzi scheme costs more.

Yes. I HATE them. Honestly, real hate . They are selling us to the globalist elite. One day Starmer will get his Knighthood and retire. I hope he’s terribly unhappy for the rest of his days.
As someone who has been through that process myself, I can confirm that I find it infuriating that these people can just come in in the way that they do, and be granted such benefits. Not only was it stressful, degrading and expensive, it also took me 10 years with many visas, each costing thousands in fees, before I finally got my British Passport. Something I very much value and am proud to carry. In every one of those 10 years and the 20 years I've been in the UK, I've not taken a single penny in benefits, and I never will out of principle. God forbid, I ever get into such a situation. My personal tax bill to HMRC this year alone is in excess of £130k, most of which is income from businesses I've built or helped built here in the UK as well as in the in the US. I'd say I've paid my fair share and will continue to do so. But knowing my tax money is being spent in such a way on these unknown and undocumented people, is a bitter pill to swallow. Something is very very wrong, not only in the UK, but the entire Europe.
We made a £500M deal with France to do this, they vet them there and WE send the boats back to France in tact. This is all by design to enrage the British public, the police will fold.

Last time I checked there was no war going on in France so EVERY SINGLE ONE of them coming across on a small boat is an economic migrant and no longer fleeing a war. This was one of the main reasons we left the EU but Stalin I mean Starmer is desperately trying to rejoin the EU through the back boor.
Yes, but the Tories never implemented Brexit fully. They have given us a few crumbs, but had no intentions of honouring our vote. It all interfered with their globalist agenda, but now it is in full swing everywhere. They're all 👿 b@ stards.
Interesting how the whole of Europe, including the UK, can simply decide within hours of each other to simply turn off asylum from Syria at will. Yet, for multiple terms of Parliaments they've been unable to do anything apart from debate back and forwards. They've shown how easy it is, if they're willing. The truth of the matter is they haven't been and have let it happen. The theatre in parliament and the European courts is just that, fiction.
I had to go through a similar process with my wife's spousal visa. It has cost us thousands of pounds and many days of work and stress to pull together all of the required documents and evidence. Some of the requirements seem unnecessarily invasive to both the migrant and sponsor. I find it repulsive that we have to go through this and still be at a very real risk of being denied, while there are tens of thousands coming here illegally and leeching off public funds.
Just so you know as this News has not appeared in the BBC legacy media: the UK had its largest solar panel installation ripped to shreds and windmills with entire turbines were torn from their towers during Storm Darragh.
They do it purposely, was speaking to an illegal immigrant and straight up told me, that he destroyed his paper work,ID purposely so that the home office couldn’t send him back to his country! 😮 Yeah, and that he gets a lot of help in this country from the state And they all seem to be men!
I had absolutely no concept of the extent or intensity of scrutiny to which basically, genuine and honest people are being subjected to obtain a visa to study here and, particularly, to live here as a spouse in a genuine relationship. And they say that crime does not pay!
I am 79 years old and have never heard of such a ridiculous, farcical, foolish, ludicrous, outrageous and preposterous precedure that you and your wife had to endure to get indefinite leave to remain in the UK for her. Very well done for persevering to the end. I am so sorry that you had to put up with this.
Even if we had mandatory identity cards, what's the chances that someone who arrived here illegally, having paid other criminals to get them here, will actually carry an identity card. Therefore, the only people who the State will be monitoring are the law-abiding citizens.
As with everything relating to illegal immigration, it is a matter of having the will to do something about it. It is not an insurmountable problem as it is made out to be. There is no need to have ID cards as the problem can be dealt with without them. As they have no desire to do this we can assume they will have no desire to do anything about those here illegally who do not have an ID card. The indigenous population on the other hand...

My husband and I went through the same thing. Every 2.5 years worrying you were going to get turned down and deported, the money was unreal, the mail we saved for the 2.5 years between visas was mind blowing, going to the face to face appointment and waiting hours for a decision. All a scary, humiliating process that cost thousands of pounds . My husband was born in London, fought for his country and still had to work during his retirement to get the funds required to prove we were not going to go on benefits.
My daughter-in-law is Columbian and knew my son 5 years before they got married. As you say, a horrendous process and cost an arm and a leg. She speaks excellent English and very well educated with degrees and has a good job. Neither she nor my son have asked for or received a penny from this government. I told her she should have got herself over to France and got a small boat over and then she would have been given everything she could wish for without question.
My husband came as an advanced student in software engineering. We have been married for 10 years. He still has not been given the right to stay even having just paid £6,000 for the next 2 years! An excellent video, very well presented. That's shocking, how much you and your wife had to go through. I have a sort of similar story. In the 80's I worked in South Africa and during my time there, fell in love with a local girl. We eventually married but before returning to the UK, we had to travel over 1000km to the British Consulate for an interview. On arrival at Heathrow, she was given a 'one-year visa' or whatever it was called. later this was extended and she eventually got permanent residence. She has worked ever since being here, once our kids were in school. Her move to the UK, was to be with me and nothing else, so she just kept her SA passport. We travelled to France a few times but her passport wasn't a problem, she just had to fill in a form, send off the passport to the French Embassy and wait for a Schengen visa. After Brexit this changed, but we were not planning on travelling overseas. This changed, so late in 2023 she decided to apply for British Citizenship. Like your wife, the Life in the UK exam was required. No problem passing that, then fill in all the forms etc and start the waiting process. After several months, she was told she had to do an English test. Again, this wasn't a problem , just an added expense for something hardly necessary. More waiting time, then finally got the OK. The next step was to book a Citizenship Ceremony. After that, the British Passport was applied for which came last week .. slightly over 12 months after first starting and well over £2000. People have joked .. she should have come on a dinghy.
Nail on the head - same experience for me (English) and my wife (Japanese). That is exactly why I get angry at people entering the UK illegally and getting treated so well at the taxpayers expense.
I am in total agreement with what you are explaining. I was the facilities manager of a large 160 apartment block almost exclusively occupied with Chinese students in the North of England. Many of the students (young girls) were worried about their immigration status due to the constant bombardment of rules and regulations. I contacted the University welfare department for an informal chat and a way of helping to ease the mental anguish the students were experiencing. The university welfare department were so helpful and we set up a watch scheme to support the students. I still to this day cannot believe these young students had to inform the Police their every move when we have had undocumented individuals arriving on a regular basis.
I could not think of a more cringe thing as to help Chinese migrants deal with the stress of coming in our countries to study and get all the benefices of regular citizens.
@@RenoLaringo Just what is cringe about helping legal migrants deal with the stress of jumping through hoops to immigrate legally? OP is helping not authorizing the students entry personally.

Thank you so much for highlighting the extreme difficulty of legal immigration. I am British born white man and I spent 15 years living in Asia during which time I met and married my wife and we had a child.. When our kid was 11 we decided to move to UK and as I had been outside UK so long it was virtually impossible without us spending a year apart by me going ahead alone. I’m an accountant by the way and have never had any social security. It was 2016 so we opted to go to Ireland under EU freedom of movement as it was, that was considerably easier but still hundreds of pages of documents and no access to public funds whatsoever.. many people make comments about how easy it is to immigrate to UK without the slightest idea of how hard it is.
I have been in the country for 55 year , I have been married to a Brit for 44 year , I have a company , employ people and pay tax , I have NEVER HAD ANY HANDOUTS from the government (. Norwegian), every two years I have to justify my allowance to stay in the country!!!!! Why? I do have unlimited “leave to stay indefinitely “ in the country , why do I have to go through this , what a waste of time when all these other irregulars have to be processed…..
I respect your observance of the current thing by calling them 'irregulars', but we should still all call them by what they really are, which is 'illegals'.
@@TheSoulPoolPhoenix I totally agree. This Norwegian lady has contributed so much. The fact she still has to check in with the authorities is, as you say, disgusting.
My wife and I have been through a similar process, she is a Jamaican national. The visa application process is a total joke and highly intrusive and incredibly expensive, we have spent 10s of thousands and only part way through the journey. All the while we are letting in economic migrants who have paid money to people traffickers rather than the government and seem to be able to bypass the whole system - the system is completely broken and incredibly unfair. We should be welcoming immigrants into this country with sensible and reasonable checks and fees and turning anyone away that arrives illegally

Yes my wife is a dentist from Thailand, qualified with 10 years of experience in private dentist. The hoops to get her into the uk to work and live are astronomical.
I know exactly what you mean. I came over from Australia on a Fiancee Visa in December 2001 to marry my British husband, and there were many hoops and much money expended to ensure I had the right information/certification to jump through those hoops to remain. We married in May 2002, (still together!) and before we could go on our honeymoon, we had to attend the Liverpool Immigration office to get a Leave of Extended Stay Visa for one year. After that was due to run out, we had to go down to Croydon to apply for Leave of Indefinite Stay. Then, because I wished to become a citizen, all the money paid (again for certifications) for passports, etc (not to mention having to be "Certified" that I could speak English as my native tongue) - it has been a very costly affair. I have a son from my first marriage who would love to come and live here and be closer to me, but because he is not in an "in demand" job, and is over the age for a Work Visa (he is 41), and does not have enough funds to support individual immigration (or someone to sponsor him) - he can't come here. My being a British Citizen counts for nothing. So yes, do I get incredibly annoyed and upset that people come over here illegally and get given everything for nothing? Hell yes!. [Gets back off her soap box] It is all so frustrating. 🙁
'I won't bring in compulsory ID cards -- until I get the perfect pretext to be able to bring them in with the public thinking it's acceptable through manufactured consent.' What Keir Starmer and the WEF is probably thinking.
It's not compulsory. You just won't be able to buy food, travel anywhere, have a driver's license, passport, rent/buy a house, have access to welfare or NHS treatment and get a job. So unless you don't do those things then it's not compulsory. (But don't worry a proxy digital id will be made for you in the mean time)
I can’t believe your wife had to go through such despite being here legally! You’re the first person I believe who have detailed the process so well. I bet you none of us know about it. We would’ve thought that those who can legally just show evidence of studying together with a student visa and that’s about it!
After what you and your wife went through Daniel, I take my hat off to you for not going absolutely mental being witness to the shenanigans that are taking place now. Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work.
Yup. Been there done that got the T-shirt. And the cost of the visas. Absolutely baffling that legal immigration is so difficult and expensive, and yet the country is available in its entirety with all benefits to anyone in France with access to a rubber dinghy. And when they “cut down” on immigration, it’s legal immigration they reduce or make even harder.
I legally emigrated to the UK from the US back in 2003. It was very expensive and a complete hassle. You are correct about there being absolutely no recourse to healthcare or benefits of any kind until becoming a resident. I do think the people that came to the US legally helped us elect President Trump. They still remember how difficult it was for them and now they are paying for a bunch of criminal freeloaders who are destroying the culture of our countries. It is sad to see the destruction thanks to political games.
Make just one simple change to the law. To be eligible to claim asylum you must enter via a recognized port of entry. If you decide to arrive by small boat you'll be forever barred from your claim and the only outcome can be deportation.
Your "simple change" overlooks a simple fact. We can't deport back to a country that the "irregular" migrant claims he doesn't come from. Even if that country is established, without a treaty with that country, they have no obligation to accept the "irregular". This is aside from the treaty obligations of the ECHR.
I refuse to upgrade my paper driving license. I've never been in a pub and don't drink so never had to buy alcohol from a store. I've purchased kitchen knifes and scissors and NEVER needed ID, because I look a million years old! Yet get this. I can't sell my own old metal to a registered metal recycling center because even though I can provide a letter from official bodies showing my address, vehicle ownership, council tax letter etc, without a photo ID they don't accept me for who I am, YET... The police by law have to accept my paper license!!!... Now, I have a Disabled Badge, it has a photo, but, I can't use that because, the Regulators say, it doesn't prove I am who I am, yet it's issued by the local council who issue the recycling ctr their license!!!... This country is failing it's elderly and disabled, it's failing it's farmers, it's failing it's teachers, it's failing the NHS, it's failing the kids, we live in a country full of threats by the powers that be, this country is supposed to be free, but it's not!... It's not as bad as some, but it's not the country I was born into by a long way!...
It annoys me that the majority of pretty much anything is being processed and handled online, whilst plenty of people (elderly, disabled, isolated) maybe aren't as tech savvy as others. I can't imagine how difficult it must be for someone who has made GP appointments over the telephone their whole life, to suddenly have to register online for appointments!
I also went through the process from spouse visa to ILR with my wife. We did all of the applications ourselves. It is so important to take your time with the forms, and print them, so that you can mark off the sections as you complete the necessary items. We did pay for an immigration lawyer to check her application for the renewal of her ILR BRP card. Now, there's the transfer from the ILR BRP card to the Digital ID format to do.
I had to provide my entire life to UK immigration to live here, I would have saved thousands and was better off going to France catching a rubber dingy to the UK ditching my passport and winding up in a 5 star hotel and given the golden key to the UK.
What would happen if I went to one of the countries these illegal immigrants come from and tried to claim asylum as Labour are in power and I fear for my future?
THANK YOU BBB! I moved back to the UK after being an ex-pat for many years. My wife of 20 odd years had to pay for a spousal visa, she had to pay several thousand pounds NHS surcharge, even though she is a medical professional. She also had to pay several thousand pounds to an immigration consultant. Her home languages are Dutch and English, but she had to write an exam to demonstrate her proficiency in English. To see illegal migration funded by tax payers is a hard slap in the face to those people who have followed the rules to the letter. She is not allowed access to public funds for at least 5 years. They get free food, accommodation, spending allowance, mobile phones and it seems, special dispensation from the courts.
The entire concept of the automatic right to asylum should be abolished, it's a post-war concept that simply isn't fit for purpose in the current day. Asylum should be something that is offered by a country on a discretionary basis to citizens of specific countries that are recognised to be in need of protection.
I am final PhD and husband an actuary. After nearly 2years waiting for UK spousal visa my husband has to pay thousands of pounds to attorneys to assist. Horror story getting my now wife to UK . Costly , to say the least . She wasn't keen on flying to France , to get a boat ; we may have a flat in Belgravia , had she done so ! Awful 2022 for us....horrid .
My wife and i went through this this year. Months of stress, thousands of pounds spent on the visa, NHS fees and then a lawyer to ensure it went smoothly - it did not. The home office lost documents we had evidence we'd sent, and the application was rejected - these being a CT600 for my company of which im a director despite them having every bank statement from every account i owned. You cant appeal quickly, instead you join a queue 6-12 months long for an appeal through the courts, all at a time where of course you've already booked flights, packed their belongings onto a shipping container, and mentally prepared yourself to finally be together after years of hardship through long distand and COVID travel restrictions. What's worse, in the same weeks as the rejection, there were news stories about needing dentists (she is one) and how people were travelling hundreds of miles for one. In the end i appealed to my local MP, who through the home offices' dedicated MP contact, managed to get it re opened without needing the court appeal. So, it was granted and she is here now, only 5 months late - she's still not able to work as a dentish though, but that's a different story of needless British bureaucracy for another day...
That's the point of not making something mandatory, it's implemented with few objections. But, and this is the point, any interaction one has with any central or local government department, or bank (money laundering regs), Land Registry (buying or selling a house) or even the DVLA when buying and registering a car, will require a digital ID.
I had to do the same for my wife. The system is difficult, but there is a whole industry built to facilitate the process. If you hire an immigration lawyer (lawyers again!), you can get through relatively easily.
Daniel , my lovely Japanese daughter -in -law has had to jump many hurdles and at great personal cost ( around £10,000 plus) to obtain her British passport and citizenship. She is legally married to my son , we have a beautiful granddaughter of which she was unable to receive CH Ben ,they also both work in the UK ,& pay their taxes. She is fluent in English and her grammar is better than mine.I am so proud of her , she had to study British History for goodness sake too ? Nothing has been straight forward as she wants dual nationality and to retain her Japanese Passport. She is quite astonished at how easy it is for certain groups of people who will remain nameless to come to the UK with zero checks, cost and documentation. This cannot be right ! It must work both ways in order to secure our borders.against possible terrorists , murderers etc
Digital ID is an essential tool of a police state. There are plenty of ways to young people to prove their age if asked in a pub or club, this is not a valid or sensible reason to consider it.
Most age verification cards will do this without being linked to other personal information or sharing between other agencies. There's a number that can be called or QR code read. Comes back 18. There's no need for it to be shared at all. It's clearly a reach to have it all crosslinked and open for abuse, I don't for instance care if someone is on benefits and goes out on their birthday to have a few drinks - good on them. @ 17:55 my wife (Malaysian national) and I (British born notional), both of us working professionals, had an experience back in 2008 very similar to yours and your partner’s Daniel. Couldn’t agree more with your comments 🎯❤️
I'm absolutely exhausted having only listened to Daniel's commentary on what he and his wife went through. My initial thoughts on this are: how on earth does the average foreigner ever legally get into this country? By average, I mean someone who is averagely intelligent, who isn't a high achieving professional, just someone who wants to maybe work their way up gradually in a particular industry or field.

Similar situation for us my now wife, of 28 years. Was Refused a finance Visa twice in the Philippines 🇵🇭. So I had to appeal, on her behalf, here in the UK. This took about 2 1/2 years. At a court in Cardiff and you can imagine the questions the Home Office was asking, plus looking directly at me. But thank goodness the Judge could see the honest reasons for her to come and we won the appeal; despite the cost. Like you say. I had to prove communication phone calls letters and any other means of communication all very stressful. But unfortunately as time has slipped by. As her old philippine passport had stamped indefinite remain status. We didn’t get round to applying for a British passport when it was free. We are now in the process of applying and have taken various tests like the English test and History, like the ones you mentioned. And has cost us so far close on a thousand pounds. I find the whole thing ridiculous and very expensive. I regret now as at the time probably 18 years back not getting the British passport for free. And to think those that are coming illegally is all being processed for free. Any advice on this matter would be appreciated thanks.
Thank you for sharing your story. My wife and I are midway through the ordeal of 5 year spouse visa route. It is an ordeal and quite degrading at times. It generates anxiety at every step and is so unfair when compared to the process and treatment of small boat asylum seekers for example. I have often felt quite alone during this journey and it was comforting to know there are others that have shared this and feel the same as we do about it.

Having lived in Portugal the police could stop you in the street, and demand to see your ID, without explaining anything. You would be taken to the police station and held until you could produce ID. Foreigners and visitors were not exempt, you had to carry your passport. I hated it. My view; Illegal migrants, the clue is in the word 'illegal' right?! It is just not fair to keep using up our taxes, doctors, dentists, schools and housing for migrant workers, arriving without jobs.
my wife has an official refugee status from the government; we had to wait 2.5 half years before she was allowed to finite leave to remain in the UK. all documents of course needed to be submitted including being able to sustain herself without "causing strain on the welfare benefits of the UK"... it's a disgrace to us legal migrants all this information

While mired in bureaucracy during the early stages a Home Office official even advised me to bring her here on a tourist visa, and change it to a work permit then apply for leave to remain permanently. He said that was how he got in, and that it would be quicker and simpler.

Most of these laws were introduced by Tory government.

My best friend married a South African girl who had lived and worked in the UK under a work visa for 3 years.
I’m so sorry that you’ve both had to go through that while army aged men arrive here and get ALL FREE. Not one human here knows who they are.

I am of 'demi-Latino' heritage and have dark hair and sallow skin from my proud background (Italian, British & American blood lines). Raised by middle class Sicillian cultured parentage (my Grand Parents raised me).

Such contempt for hard working people who benefit society and community. They're rabid, avaricious, psychopaths.
I respect your observance of the current thing by calling them 'irregulars', but we should still all call them by what they really are, which is 'illegals'.
@@nickbrown6457 Got there before me. ILLEGALS!
Exactly Why ? It's disgusting
I still can't fathom what would make a person tick the Labour box at a ballot station, especially having been through Labour governments before.
£££££
The ballot paper is essentially what color tie do you want your labour party to wear
Massive union-led pay increases?
Public sector and welfare dossers always vote to feather their own nests.
Because "the Tories are far right" (apparently.)
No, no no no. New Labour is socialist far left. Look up National Socialist Workers Party.
Promises of wage increases to unions and government employees. Simple Socialist manipulation, using tax payers money to buy votes to achieve power.
This is one of those things we need everyone to protest against. Get to London when the time comes
Where else in history have we heard “your papers please”. It’$ not for your $aftey. Look at the cf the minority Australian government just slammed through!
Needless alarmism, why would 'they' want to see my 'papers'?
Our relatives managed to keep a whole German militia out of our country during the last world war, how come we can't do the same now?
We can. There is simply no desire to do so by the political class.
@@boostar155 💯 true. The reason there is so much ill feeling in the country at the moment is, I believe, because your average Brit has just realised our political class couldn’t give two f###s about them. All that Labour has done differently is not to pretend they don’t hold us in complete contempt.
It's disgusting how the British citizens get treated

Bravo! Someone had to say it out loud and you did a fab job of it!
Very interesting. Sorry to hear of your difficulties.
Maybe embrace Islam, your son would be fast tracked here.
Most home office staff are Muslim
I am very sorry you are separated from your son. My son is the same age and that would really hurt, especially with grandchildren and family events.

'I won't bring in compulsory ID cards -- until I get the perfect pretext to be able to bring them in with the public thinking it's acceptable through manufactured consent.' What Keir Starmer and the WEF is probably thinking.
Problem } reaction } solution
Digital id is not needed or wanted can you hear me STARMER.say no to digital id
It's not compulsory. You just won't be able to buy food, travel anywhere, have a driver's license, passport, rent/buy a house, have access to welfare or NHS treatment and get a job. So unless you don't do those things then it's not compulsory.
(But don't worry a proxy digital id will be made for you in the mean time)
Absolutely shocking. 😞
Normal for us I'm afraid
@RaymondClarke-o3e sad times 😞
I can’t believe your wife had to go through such despite being here legally! You’re the first person I believe who have detailed the process so well. I bet you none of us know about it. We would’ve thought that those who can legally just show evidence of studying together with a student visa and that’s about it!
We will never comply ..😁.. not a chance ever
It does demonstrate, not only in the UK, that doing things right does not result in justice.
"This is crippling the country" Do you allow it to continue or do you make the " Hard Decision" STOP IT & REVERSE IT!
After what you and your wife went through Daniel, I take my hat off to you for not going absolutely mental being witness to the shenanigans that are taking place now. Thanks for sharing, keep up the great work.
The system is complete back to front, so glad it worked out for you both.
The problem is the "establishment" openly admit to wanting this state of affairs - its the WEF's way of "re-balancing global wealth" they THINK !
Why don't they tow the boats , mid Channel , back to France ? We could keep out Hitler......et al ad nauseam !
Too easy though isn't it.
You forget. Starmer was the "human rights" lawyer who "forced" the Blair regime to give all these gimmigrants tons of benefits because of "equality".
We are facing the same thing here in Australia, it's disgusting
@@deb1309 Sad to hear.
Are you Aboriginal?
It really hurts me that you can rock up to the UK and get access to legal aid but if you earn a penny over £31,884, you have to pay out of pocket.
Must also pay medical insurance when I probably won't even benefit under NHS current situation. If only I had taken a boat would have been better off. Rewarded for respecting the rules and law🇿🇦. Thanks for your personal story Blackbelt. How do we contact you please?
Grand daughter has UK passport, husband has 5 year visa, But 2 year old daughter born in 🇿🇦 has had to wait almost all its life to obtain visa!!!
They don’t have to make something mandatory…..they can just make not having it impractical or highly inconvenient.
Exactly
Lik3cstanging on every beach with machine guns?
We wouldn't need it if we new who lived here and gave their proper name and address.
Digital ID is an essential tool of a police state. There are plenty of ways to young people to prove their age if asked in a pub or club, this is not a valid or sensible reason to consider it.
The online safety bill is the other bluff justification…..keeping children safe….just like giving babies mRNA booster vaccines I guess.
This shouldn't be flagged up at the jobcentre the week after. Or restrictions placed on where you can go or what you can do, because it's not anyone else's business.
It really is one of the most dehumanising and humiliating processes someone can go through.
It's disgusting I hope we get him out we need someone with a backbone like Trump here for his people
LOL if you think Trump gives a fig about you....think again...if you ain't got money he don't care about you!!!
Trump doesn't care about the general population, only those who bow down to him.
At least he pretends more convincingly.
Lol... No one needs anyone like Trump. Just watch the disaster unfold in the coming years
@@hazelb7218 Right? It's pretty funny that people think Trump actually cares about them and they simp for him! He has repeatedly tossed loyal people aside, including the poor loyal developers for truth social. That was exactly an example of Trump directly choosing money over principles and betraying people who have sweat and blood for him
Similar situation for us my now wife, of 28 years.
Hope the application goes smoothly for you! Don’t give up !
@@EasyChineseCooking Many thanks for the encouragement. We will keep going at it! :)

The whole situation is sickening! I sense a revolution on the horizon and all the turmoil that it will cause! 👍🇬🇧
No revolution I'm afraid, fathers were removed from family homes, making children weak. Those weak children are now woke adults willing to follow their governments every instruction without a second thought.
It was a nightmare bringing my wife over.
And super expensive.
Thanks for highlighting this.
