I must have missed this episode. I don't think I've ever seen this, and I am blown away. This is peak Glee: powerful vocal performances paired with impeccable set pieces and storytelling through brilliant choreography. Nowadays, these performances also tap into a wistful nostalgia as we remember some of the incredible people we met through Glee, but who now have passed on or fallen from grace. Naya Rivera was a very special woman. She sang like an angel and had an impressive stage presence. She was undeniably talented, and I am deeply saddened that we didn't get to see how far she could go.

Not them fighting on who’s better and creating this iconic performance because both Santana and Rachel killed it. Naha and Lea were both amazing vocally. I think WE won here.
I sort of preferred Santana’s voice more for this. I thought that the raspiness in her voice was better than Rachel’s higher pitched and vocaled ranged voice.Rachel also was super desperate and her face was hilarious when Santana brought Elliot off the stage. I’m not trying to hate on Rachel her voice is beautiful but I thought Santana fit better for this song. Now don’t go on and hate on me this is just my opinion!
Your opinion is solid. Santana fits this song MUCH better. Rachel has a fantastic voice but it is not as stylistically versatile and cannot transcend certain genres, like Santana's here. Rachel is better suited for theatrical, power ballads, whereas Santana (although not as technically powerful), can really sing a bit of anything with her tone. This song requires a "rawness" Rachel lacks.
