Sebastian Gutierrez hey man. A true bypass means that when the effect is off there is essentially a direct connection between the input and output of a pedal, so that your tone isn’t compromised by running through all the circuitry of the pedal. On many pedals, for example my Boss ME-50B, when all effects are off the tone of the bass sounds weaker than when it’s plugged straight into an amp. If a pedal has a real true bypass that shouldn’t happen.
Boss LS-2 is somewhat similar? I use it as an A/B box, but it also has 2 FX loops so you can run all your pedals in loop A and have the dry bass signal in loop B, so you always have your clean bass tone underneath everything (and level controls for both loop A and B, so you can kind of blend wet/dry). Great review PW, 3Leaf Audio themselves shared your video on their facebook page and that's how I ended up here! :)
man, a great explanation/demo. spot on! thanks for posting.
Great playing. Love the SFG Jazz. I played that color for years and miss it!
Awesome demo and explanation of how this pedal can help in sculpting out new bass tones. Thank you!
thanks man....amazing!
your tone is like a mix between Metheny and Nico Conceição ...
Great review, great bass player
I don't get what the true bypass does please someone explain me

@@PWFarrell so when the true bypass switch is off is like a buffered bypass circuit?
Sebastian Gutierrez turning the bypass off send the signal through the effects chain.
@@PWFarrell thanks for the explanation
Great videos, but can you please explain how the signal chain works. I would like to see your pedalboard. Tks
Thanks for the review man. I'm new to the blend pedal thing - but are there any others like this out there?
I don't know man, after trying this I had no need to look further! ;)

That sounds pretty similar except having the clean/dry channels controllable by a single big knob is super intuitive and responsive when playing live.
