Great video Hamish. I always look forward to seeing your videos and they are really helping inspire me to ride in this lockdown. Keep up the good work.
I have a reserve nearby In my suburb and I have made some DIY jumps with a few of my mates. There are a lot of different line choices and great fun to ride. I love your videos and hope to see you on some trails some day 🙂
Moved here from California just in time for the lockdown. I'll be binge-watching your videos for trails within the new 25km bubble. Would love to meet some locals to ride with that can push it out at plenty gorge and you yangs soon!
Good to see you have places to ride like this Hamish, I have been thinking about all you guys in Melbs, Great vid, I remember riding there years ago and thinking a out bunny hopping the drain, and wondering if it was possible, nice work!
Great video, also stuck in stage 4 lockdown in Melbourne! Does your 5km include Jackson park / Edgars creek up in Coburg North? I've been exploring alot around this area and found some interesting trails you should check out! As well as a SUPER sketchy trail on the east side of merri creek up near the Coburg drive in cinema. The only good thing about lockdown is that I would have never found/explored these areas without it!
Great video Bud👍 Anyway once lockdown is over we catch up and I'll bring over my two bikes Trance ebike and the Trance analog and we'll do a comparison with yours as well
Hey I have an idea for a video Only if your good at coding or have a back ground in it you should build or buy like a dropper seat post lever like thing and programme to when you press it to make your drone either stay still, follow, or land But I guess it would be a big project I was just thinking Why the hell am I writing this comment like an e mail
If you don't want people finding it you probably shouldn't have mentioned the suburb, a quick look on Google maps shows there isn't many places around there that they can be
I measured the big jump with a measuring tape today. 7.5m
Oh wow, that’s interesting. From the same points as I measured it?
@@longandwinding lip to about 20cm after the next lip (downramp)
Nice. Seems like the app wasn’t accurate after all
Shoutout to the local kids for building these jumps in our 5kmr, keeping us somewhat sane!

Thanks Alexander. Unfortunately that’s way out of my 5kms but I hear good things. Might check it out some time
Great video mate
Thanks Kelly!
Always wondered what that area in Travancore was like to ride, now I know!
Have any tips for being loose in the air when jumping? I always feel really stiff and out of control...
It’s all about getting the take off right, really nail it and pull up/bunny hop on the lip
what he said^ you gotta muscle the bike... pull the bike off the lip, dont let the bike push you.
u should come back to them they got way bigger
yes mate
Another great video. This one might just be within my 5k's .... just.
Fingers crossed!
You should come to our jumps in Aberfeldie park
Pls message me on IG!
Got skills!
Thanks!
Who pilots the drone? Or does it follow you automatically?
Follows me autonomously
@@longandwinding amazing! Thanks mate. Love the videos
Sick vid!
I was ligit there (the start) 3 days ago

Cool - I think that's nearly within my 5km range
Take a look!

People have been making jumps near me to, I think they are a bit crazy though.
Haha message me on IG if you could?
Sucks for you guys in Melbourne still in lockdown 🙁
Seen those jumps on tik tok and always wondered where they are
Who should we follow on tiktok?
Benny McBenface just on my FYP so I can’t remember the account name
yeh lol just look at the suburb in google maps its so obvious where they are
Haha, I crashed on one of the slimy algae trails leading into the storm water drain on father's day. Very embarrassing. 😂
Lols, nice work!
Isn’t the end of the freeway drain called cheese sticks?
Maybe! Might be because of the giant yellow sculpture that looks like a cheese stick

Haha nice idea. Would be pretty complex though
Thanks for not telling the location I help build it
Thnx for building!
I know who made the jumps
Who?
