Only thing you need to do against this boss is to stay in front of her and not to constantly circle around her like you did. That sideways finger scuttle attack only comes out when you attack her from the sides. Everything else has very easy to notice windup animations and long pauses after attacks to punish.
What level are you in terms of Scadu Tree fragments? I'm level 12 atm and just absolutely bonked the hell outta this boss with the Anvil Hammer solo, yeah sure the attacks are annoying especially the finger ones on her sides but compared to most bosses in the DLC Metyr has very wide openings in between attacks. But I guess that's the beauty of Elden RIng, some bosses are easier than others, Divine Beast Dancing Lion took me 12 hours to beat lmao and the bane of my existence meanwhile I beat Bayle in 7 tries
@@jebathehutt4287 The boss fight designs are done so delicately imo, that forces player to try different tactics and learn the attacks. All bosses in the dlc has delayed attacks mixed with regular attacks, Bayle is weird because he is like all delayed attacks, luckily I have slow reaction times, I got Bayle on my 10th attempt with the dragon hunting great katana. On the other hand dancing lion has all these aoe attacks that you cannot dodge through, so you would need a shield and start jumping over the attacks, I played defensively and got dancing lion on the second attempt. However Rellana is a totally different story, she is so aggressive that I cannot hold a shield otherwise I keep risking posture break, end up switching to using great shield summons and ranged attack to dps rush with her, because she is standing in water, lighting worked so well, doesn’t feel guilty at all 🤣
@cim3994 Rellana took me 3 tries, but that's probably because I speed blitz her using the Anvil Hammer with the Axe, Dragoncrest Greatshield, and Shard of Alexander talismans boosted with Golden Vow and Flame, Grant Me Strength incantations and topped off with the Wondrous Physic of Stonebarbed Cracked and Spiked Cracked Tears. Literal blitzkrieg my way against Rellana, broke her posture 3 times and had her health down to 35% before she even started her second phase lmao. Gotta love the variety of stuff you can try against different bosses
I’m not sure 200 hours is just the dlc or the base game, seems insane if you manage you get 200hours into the dlc in just one week! You need to follow Ymir questline, it is the building on your left just before shadow keep church section entrance. He will give you a bell asking you to ring a hanging bell in a hallowing ruin, which are located behind the jagged peak. He will then claim to have birth to yuri a baby fingercreeper! During night time, he will move to the grave, mourning the death of Yuri, afterward he will have you a second map, this time you will need to go beneath shadow keep, the second finger ruin is hidden in the hinterland, this one you need to drain the water out of shadow keep. Go to the very end of the end and sound the second bell. Back to Ymir he will be very happy with your work, and give you a final map to the third finger ruins, which is hidden under the throne of Ymir, once he moved to the graveyard, you can examine the throne, sound the third bell you will meet with the mother of fingers
@@rodrigoalonso3564 You have to do a really really long quest line involving you blowing a whistle into three different giant fingers each at a different fingers grave yard.
