The truer sports car is still better defined by Miata with lightweight and agile handling with the simplicity of doing more with less stuff under the hood.
The Miata is great, the balance, precision, playfulness and the convertible aspect are just a few of my favorite things about the Miata. The ND is the best looking, I fit best in the NC and the NA has the best steering. The GR86 is tail happy, seems to be the modern Porsche 944, can take a set of track tires, that low center of gravity, boxer engine are a few of my favorite things about the GR86. In reality I want to own both.
