20 years before Kaepernick’s protest Mahmoud, being a man of principle, sacrificed his career for his beliefs. The NBA blackballed him and killed his career. Shout out to Ice Cube for giving this legend a platform. Mahmoud is one of my all time favorite players. He deserves the MVP.

SHAME ON THE NBA FOR WHAT THEY DOD TO THIS MAN!!!! I AM A CHRISTIAN AND HE IS A MUSLIM: HE IS A GOOD, HONORABLE, PRINCIPLED MAN AND IF THE NBA HAD A STREAD OF CLASS THEY WOULD LET THIS MAN HAVE SOME MINUTES BECAUSE HE CAN STILL HOLD HIS OWN OR AT THE VERY LEAST HONOR HIM IN DENVER:
IT IS JUST AND IT IS TIME!!!!!!!!!

@Billboardguy1 you are wrong: he lead the Nuggets in scoring then could not get off the bench, therewere teams that was going to sigm him then abruptly cancelled and he was told that they couldn't, you see how he played in the big 3 now nkw put that skill in a 1990s body! He was 100% blackballed and you should not speak when you dont know. Go watch the documentary of him here on yt.

I''m 54 and a member at the Y. I'm STILL giving lots of youngsters the BUSINESS. Of course on the defensive side, it's hard to keep up with some of them...especially if they can shoot and have handles. But I'm getting mine too.

Shouldn't shock you. Kapernick thing all over again. People were really bent out of shape about that as if he was burning the flag before every game. Although I don't think he's getting as much shine as he should for what he's accomplishing in the Big 3, I still feel like his 2 seasons serves as redemption. This new generation gets to see the "steph curry before steph curry"

He and Colin Kaepernick have more balls than 90% of the athletes today. Fame and fortune mean little to them. Being a force for good matters more.

I'm not exaggerating, he can easily play in the NBA right now, look at his body type, speed and skills, you can compare him with jamal crawford, he also can score forever, this kind of players can play until 50 years age.

He's a complete genius shooter. He was playing against MJ back then. Should've been more competitive if only NBA did not kick him.

I love brother Mahmoud. Not only is he extremely talented, he is a man of principles, humble, and a man of integrity. I hope he decides to make an autobiography of his life, just like how he was inspired with Malcolm X. God bless you Brother Mahmoud. You are just like the meaning of your name, praiseworthy!

I’m from Canada. I followed him from LSU on. Never, until Stephen Curry have I seen a shooter like that. He used to stay after practice and shoot free throws. Had to make ten in a row that SOUNDED a certain way when they swished. This from his Tourette’s. I couldn’t wait to see him play. I really saw the hypocrisy of the US when he was black balled, in his prime. Religious freedom my ass. I’m still pissed, and guys my age (65) don’t know who he is. People just don’t get it.
