Bonjour de France Je visionne votre video avec plaisir. Je vais bientot prendre possession de ma nouvelle moto goldwing 2024 noir. Je suis impatient de pouvoir rouler. Bonne journée.Sylvain🏍
I have a 2019 Goldwing red and black and now that I have it the way I want it there is nothing I don’t like…. Just finished doing a valve adjustment last Saturday that’s to Fred Harmon videos…love this bike plus I just leave it in manual mode and do my own up shifts…lol
I'm glad your enjoying your 2023 Honda Goldwing Candy Ardent Red. I had ordered one same year and color but I back out of it. I should be getting my $500.00 deposit back soon. I'll wait for the 2024 or 2025 Goldwing which maybe hybrid
Hi Robert Just picked up my (new to me ) 2021 Gold Wing -Black / Flat Black 2 tone It was hard getting rid of my 2000 1500 Gold Wing SEL - 2 Tone Blue but it was time I live in the Wisconsin so most of my riding buddies ride Harleys I just love the smooth, quite and comfortable ride of the Gold Wing Weather here is more like the Faroe Island Hoping to get out for my first ride this Friday
Rob I feel for you and the weather situation for sure!! I bet that black on flat black looks fantastic ! Just about everyone has said they love the Smooth / Comfortable ride, along with the reliability of the GW. Thanks again for commenting and watching this and the Faroes ;-)
Enjoyed your video, my new Gold Wing is got all the accessories installed and waiting for me to pick it up when the weather allows, can’t wait to get out and enjoy it like you enjoy yours
It’s Ardent red just like yours, I put on Utopia back rest, Kuriacan highway foot rest, trunk mats, Pathfinder spoiler like Cruisemans, wind deflectors under the mirrors, the dealer did. not charge anything for putting on the accessories
The flared top edge on the F4 windshield allows me to keep it at its lowest setting with great wind protection. I believe Cruiseman has a video on that too.
Welcome back from Faroes. Great pictures of beautiful scenery. I have a 2023 like yours with just over 600 miles. My last bike was a Honda NC 750 DCT. Agreat bike but didn’t suit me that well. The 23 is my third Goldwing. Looking in the owner’s manual it states the break-in period is 300 miles (pg 13). The maintenance schedule shows the first oil change at 4000 miles. There is a column under 600 miles with no entries (pg 155). The NC750 manual called for an oil and filters change at 600 miles. So, 4000 miles for the GW seems, at least to me, a little long. But the two engines are totally different. Thanks for posting your videos.
thanks Kenneth, at 600 miles I'll remove the shackles of break-in and also change my oil and filters. It's just me. This bike has to last me, it's my last purchase, and so oil changes are not that expensive. Thank you for watching and commenting !! Ride Safe!
@@robertwhitemoto you're welcome .. really enjoying the channel so far .. mine is the Deep Pearl Gray color .. my bike is still in storage after last week's snow storm .. ouch
Hey Robert welcome back. Enjoyed the tour three months in vlog. I too have the ‘23 Ardent Red and it is my second wing. I bought an ‘03 new and traded it in 2019 for a Concours. The thing I’m loving most about the new one is the traxxion shocks I had installed over the weekend. Man, night and day.. I wished I’d have had the wherewithal to look into them while I had the ‘03. I just learned this newest generation has the same front shock as a Honda CRF125 rear shock. Anywho, welcome back and look forward to more vids.
Hey Brian, I've heard some good things about Traxxion shocks... I'm going to have to check them out. What was the biggest change you noticed with the new shocks? thank you for watching and commenting !! Ride Safe.
@@robertwhitemoto So far (it’s only been a few days) it’s much more planted. The front end doesn’t bounce. If it hits a bump or hole, it reacts only once. The tie rod ends are moving very little as compared to before. Kinda hard to describe but it’s like the tires are more glued to the road. On curves, I notice the confidence increased because of the glue feeling..
Great video. Just wondering if you have seen the 23 Honda Goldwing in Black. If you have, does the black have any metallic in it. I live in Canada and have a deposit on a 2023 Honda Goldwing tour in black. I do like your two tone red and hope I’m happy with my choice. Thanks for any info and keep the videos coming. I’m hoping to visit your great state one day.
I don’t believe the black has metallic … I could be wrong. I don’t know what year model the black one I saw in person was…. Thank you for watching and commenting!
Hello from the Uk! I bought my Red/black 2020 DCT Tour back in February, the previous owner had only covered 360 miles on it! It's been sat in my garage, whilst I waited for better weather and the roads to be cleaner (winter salt + bikes never a good mix), but I finally managed to get the bike out for a ride on Monday. Heated seat and grips on, sat behind that big screen, its not a bad place to be. Certainly very different from my VFR1200F (non-DCT), but looking forward to many more smiles-per-gallon. I'm enjoying your videos, keep up the great work, safe biking.
Nick, always great to hear from my friends in the UK. My recent trip to the Faroes included the nicest chap from the UK, although now he lives in the Caymans. Thank you for watching and commenting ! I love the red/black combo. You see a lot of those around here! And what great mileage!! I’m about there on my brand new 2023. Small tid-bit about me and the UK. As a teenager I marched in the Battersea Easter Parade 😁
Absolutely right Robert. I follow my own schedule especially just out of the factory.. there has to be more particulates in this first batch of oil. Doesn't cost much and gives me peace of mind. I'm sure the owners manual schedule is just fine :) Ride Safe!
I’m looking to get a goldwing & checking out videos. Since I’m also a photographer, I especially like your videos. I was a little surprised you laid your camera down in the back trunk. Naren’s you concerned about the vibration? I have a D850, so I’m pretty protective of it.
lwbj.. thank you for watching and commenting. I have put my CanonR5 through so much more than a vibrating trunk, I'm not too concerned. Also my trunk has a carpet liner that absorbs some of that and the Goldwing is one of the smoothest, least vibrating bikes you can buy with that in-line 6 cylinder engine. You will love a Goldwing... so glad I made that purchase.
Hey Robert! Great ride yesterday. I watched all my UA-cam buds at breakfast. Ours is a 2005 red. What we love about it is the dependability, reliability and comfort. I call it our two wheeled convertible. I just love being out on the road on two wheels. The '05 was an upgrade from the '84 1200 I bought in 1993. Your eye for art is amazing. You see a tractor and an old barn, and you see artwork. I see a tractor and an old barn!! Been enjoying the trip around the Faroe's. Take care my friend. All you guys in Texas are having a great time! Things are just starting to warm up here in OH.
Jim so good to hear from you again! Thank you for watching and all the very kind words. You are so right about the reliability AND the comfort !!! There's two more videos coming on the Fareos... I'm dropping in "DAY 4" tonight, and then later in the week "The FINAL DAY". It was just an amazing trip, with extremes, some danger, some disappointment, but also the most amazing place I've been since Antarctica :) Ride Safe Friend.
I have a 2006 Gold colored Goldwing. I love the comfort of the seat and the riding position as well as the smooth boxer engine and plenty of power throughout the power band. Very comfortable bike for someone "my age"!!
I’ve heard good things about the Traxxion suspension! I’ll have to check that out. The blue is an awesome color! Its what I first ordered, but they were not shipping 22’s anymore so I had to choose among the 23’s
LOL, 58°. Like a heat wave compared to the Faroes. I love the Iron Man Red. How appropriate. 😀 That chipseal pavement looks pretty rough. I remember riding up in those neck of the woods on my bicycle. I HATE chipseal on a road bicycle.
Norris, thank you for watching and commenting! the Goldwing handled all the pavement with ease on this trip. Super happy about that. The low center of gravity helps so much.
100% Robert! Happy April 1st and welcome back! A cool clear beautiful Sat morning it was in North Texas. Totally agree with you about Cruiseman. The real deal, humble, squared away and well spoken. He, Chris Caliente, Brother Cowboy, Sister Cowgirl and few other of Caliente’s riding friends who joined him on his ride to the DFW area, all met down in Arlington for breakfast. I heard you might try to make and I was hoping to see you too. Hearing you were meeting family later in the day explains that. In any event, I mentioned to Cruiseman that at some point I will make the Sunday morning coffee at Awake. Looking forward to that. Your Shoei Neotec 2 is a fabulous helmet. I noticed you do not use the breath-guard. Does that muffle the sound? The other, it looks like you needed your sunshade. Bike looks fantastic. Your details of the benefits of Cruiseman’s maintenance videos as well as all Gold Wing details is absolutely spot on. 2022 Ultra Blue DCT Tour Airbag. My 3rd Wing. (84 and 96) This newest my favorite and for many reasons. The aesthetics, with it’s angular good looks, the reduced weight making for even more sporty handling, the seamless, quick DCT, an absolute game changer. The Walking and Reverse modes are genius and welcomed, if not crucial, in numerous difficult scenarios. It’s even handy when orienting it in the garage for that perfect spot. I use it all the time. The photo of the John Deer tractor is timeless. After cold Texas winters, the fresh bumper crop of Spring Golden Rod a good reminder of the time of the year it has finally become. Thank you for the trip. Always welcoming. Love that area you were in. Never been there. Blessings to the White family. Ride safe and ride often. ATGATT

I've seen your bike on Chris Caliente's video, also well maintained I can see and just beautiful. the new body style of the Goldwing brought it back into play for me... earlier years were just too big for me. these new ones look almost sport touring. Thank you as always my friend for the kind words and encouragement! Ride Safe, and I know I'll see you sometime, somewhere :)
