How's life in Canada right now? Is it too expensive for daily life compared to monthly income?

Canada is a huge country and some places are more expensive than others. For example, major cities are more expensive than smaller cities or towns. People with lower incomes who are trying to live in more expensive places are struggling. And people with higher incomes who live in less expensive places are doing well financially. Your simple question has only a complex answer based demographics, geolocations, and other variables.

It’s like any bad weather situation - fewer people leave home and therefore business sales decrease. Road closures can occur during bad snowstorms so businesses do suffer from a day or more of lost sales.
