I loved this movie! And I loved Frank and Carl's relationship. My heart went out to Frank because basically he was just a kid (a very smart kid) that was messed up about his family being torn apart and at the beginning he naively thought he could fix everything for his father that he loved so much. He definitely needed to be stopped and even he knew that. But definitely a great movie.
In France the officer or detective that puts Frank in the French patrol car at the end when he is caught is the REAL Frank. He was a consultant for this movie.
fun fact, since you like history: The Secret Service's initial responsibility was to investigate the counterfeiting of U.S. currency, which was rampant following the American Civil War. That is why he pretended to be Secret Service.
My 2 favorite Tom Hanks movies are Turner & Hooch and Joe Versus the Volcano (A League of their Own is up there too though). If you want to watch some Ben Stiller movies, Heavyweights and Mystery Men (I didn't like Zoolander but a bunch will suggest it). There are a lot of Leo movies but a few of his younger ones What's Eating Gilbert Grape?, Basketball Diaries, and The Aviator and Shutter Island for a thriller/horror. I also want to recommend another movie if you like royalty or history type movies ... the 1993 The Three Musketeers. It was a great movie. I love watching your reactions. You are such a positive person, always backing people up and cheering them on. Its so much fun. And I love your Tupac pic in the background.
Leonardo dicaprio is my favourite actor of all time not only is he amazing but he's always in 10/10 movies!!! Inception. The wolf of wall street. Great gatsby. Shutter Island. Best place to see his best!
The movie is great. The story is amazing. Nice reaction. Don't sleep on Castaway, which is Tom Hanks and a volleyball as the headliners. Another great movie. But you gotta see Leo in Django Unchained, with Jamie Foxx and Samuel L. Jackson.
This is one of my favourite movies my dad introduced me to this story when I was growing up he felt it was an important story to tell and he was right. The female actress you were trying to name was Jennifer Gardner she was also electra in daredevil with Ben affkeck
What's Eating Gilbert Grape is the first movie my mom ever saw Leo in, and she thought immediately that he was a phenomenal actor. Also stars Johnny Depp. As for Ben Stiller, I recommend one of my favorite Gen-X movies, Reality Bites. Not only does Ben Stiller have a role in it, but he also directed it. Winona Ryder, Ethan Hawke, Steve Zahn, and Janeane Garofalo are all in it. The movie really captures the mid 1990s vibe and the widespread disillusionment of Gen-Xers trying to navigate early adulthood.
This is a move I think is terrific with two of the best actors there are. To see more of the incredibly talented Leo I recommend This Boy's Life (1993), What's Eating Gilbert Grape (1993), and Once Upon a Time In Hollywood (2019).
Vince Vaughn and Ben stiller in Dodgeball! Hysterical. Also side note. Gave you seen the SNL skit MORE COWBELLS w Christopher Walken? Hysterical. Also Black Jeopardy w Tom Hanks Have you seen The Revenant w Leo??
I'd love for you to react to The Count of Monte Cristo (2002 version). I think it'll be right up your alley! ^_^ Amazing reaction as always! I've been with you ever since you started your GoT journey and I find myself really looking forward to your videos, thank you so much!
I’m surprised you saw Man in the Iron Mask. I remember watching the original black and white film when I was young. It was much freakier. I’d recommend any of the Three Musketeers movies too.
This was true in the past. Airline Pilots were respected and always revered by everyone, because if you think about it, while flying a 747/757 they are really are those passenger's God for those 220-260 passengers or (souls). For however long that flight is you are in their hands.
A couple recommends for other Tom Hanks films is: ROAD TO PERDITION (old school gangster flick) from 2002, and THE 'BURBS from 1989 (truly hilarious classic comedy).
Dude, I feel so old... "Martin Sheen... is that Charlie Sheen´s dad?" Yeah, how about Channel Family; Major should be educated the greatness of Martin Sheen, right? Apocalypse Now Redux, The Departed and Wall Street for starters?
Dude...seriously....ALLLLLL Tom Hanks films are good, great, worthy of watching...even the corny ones. Some of my favorites that I don't think you've seen yet are: The Terminal Apollo 13 Captain Phillips Sully Big Cast Away Turner & Hooch Larry Crowne Charlie Wilson's War You've Got Mail A League of Their Own
Way too much talking and yelling from you.. you start going off and thinking and then at the same time looking away from the screen when things are happening that you should be hearing and taking in but instead you’re thinking about something you just seen and talking..? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ come on dude. I’ve only seen a few of your reactions but it’s the same.. too overly excited and then you end up missing tons of little details because of what I just said and anybody that doesn’t like what I have to say.. well..
The funny thing is: Titanic, Man in the Iron Mask and this were all still very early in Leo's career. He only gets better in his later movies. Departed, Shutter Island, Inception, Blood Diamond are just some of his best movies. Dude's a beast.
Yeah when looking Gangs of New York, Django and Revenant... That man truly, truly is acting beast. Even when facing actors like Daniel Day Lewis, Tom Hanks etc Leo can hold his own easily.
This is a movie that I just randomly walked into one day, killing some time and had no idea about any of it but I did know that John Williams scored the music for it so I took a chance and was blown away by it🛫💥💯✨
My favorite Leonardo Dicaprio movies (aside from this one): Based on true stories: The Wolf of Wall Street The Aviator Other: Gangs of New York Don't Look Up
There are SO many must-see Tom Hanks movies, I had almost forgotten about this one, and I LOVE this movie! Here are some of my favorite Tom Hanks movies (aside from the ones you've already seen or are planning to react to soon): Based on true stories: Apollo 13 A League of Their Own Saving Private Ryan The Post The Terminal Captain Phillips Charlie Wilson's War A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood Other: Cast Away Big (young Tom Hanks) Road to Perdition
I love the way they recreated his appearance on TO TELL THE TRUTH as a prologue to the story. And Tom Hanks' reaction when he realizes he's been fooled is priceless
What up my brother. I love your reviews as always. This kid was light years ahead of himself. In those days, there were not a lot of systems in place to control these types of crimes. Life was much more innocent and who would have thought a kid would have had the ability to do and get away with want Frank did? Hanratty was a genius in being able to use Carl to help crack fraud cases as he realized that this kid was a subject matter expert with fraudulent checks. It is not uncommon to have the feds use criminals who want to change or have skill sets that can actually help solve crimes and identify vulnerabilities with systems in many industries. Some of the best former computer hackers in the world now work for the government and software companies making top dollar. Tom Hanks and Leonardo are great combo. Tom Hanks is definitely a great actor. Please review Body of lies and Blood diamond with Leonardo Di Caprio. Much love to you my guy and keep them coming.
I bought this DVD as soon as it came out, and have watched this movie a bunch of times. Frank Abagnale Junior has an amazing story, and the shit load of millions he’s made sense then is crazy!
I love The Man in the Iron Mask! Magnificent valor! The scene where Aramis “sawed the beam” also never fails to crack me up. This movie always feels fresh each time I watch it too because of all the twists and turns of the chase.
I laughed at some of this movie, super smart how he scrams the money with the checks. I do love Tom Hanks. but I felt bad for the kid his mom left his dad and then she went off and had a new family. And that realization on Franks face when he met his little half-sister but also the truth of his father's death. But damn good reaction.
Leo movies you need - what’s eating Gilbert grape (with Johnny Depp) and Shutter Island which is really underrated. And Romeo + Juliet, if you’re ready for modernized Shakespeare and tripping
The fact that he only studied for 2 weeks and based the state bar in Louisiana says that if he just kept his nose clean given his age when he did he would have made millions as a lawyer
15:31 you should know that back in those days pilots were like celebs 27:30 that's what it would cost today and not with a known supermodel, they clearly didn't bother to adjust this for inflation 54:54 you missed his cameo when they were in france, he was one of the french police officers when they arrested him
I don't know if anyone had mentioned this but I recall seeing somewhere that the officer who took Leo to the car when they are in France and he was getting arrested was the real Frank Abagnale Jr.
I loved this movie! And I loved Frank and Carl's relationship. The first movie I saw DeCaprio in was What's Eating Gilbert Grape. He was very young and his acting was incredible.
This is such a good movie. Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio two amazing actors going back and forth.
In the 60's, a Pilot was like a movie star.
Leonardo DiCaprio was 28 playing 16 during filming. Amy Adams was also 28 at time of filming.
This is one of my favorite movies. Frank was a mastermind from a young age.
I hope you’ll react to ”Gilbert Grape” some day. Both Johnny Depp and Leobardo DiCaprio are fantastic in it!
This is one of my favourite movies my dad introduced me to this story when I was growing up he felt it was an important story to tell and he was right. The female actress you were trying to name was Jennifer Gardner she was also electra in daredevil with Ben affkeck

Amazing reaction as always! I've been with you ever since you started your GoT journey and I find myself really looking forward to your videos, thank you so much!
Yes! The Count of Monte Cristo would be an awesome one for him to react to. I love that movie!
100% agreed. In my top 3 favorite films of all time
Fun fact, when Leo got arrested in France, the real Frank abagnale Jr was the one who brought him to the car
This picture is a remake of the 1961 film “The Great Imposter” with Tony Curtis, father of Jamie Lee Curtis.
the real story is so much crazier. This is one time Hollywood did not exaggerate, they had to tame it down
I’m surprised you saw Man in the Iron Mask. I remember watching the original black and white film when I was young. It was much freakier.
I’d recommend any of the Three Musketeers movies too.
If you are going down the Leo rabbit hole, gotta go with The Departed. Plus a stellar performance in Django Unchained.
If you haven't seen it The Terminal is another fantastic Tom Hanks movie also based on a true story 😁
Amy Adams played that nurse with braces and Jennifer Garner is that lady in the hotel room
The Terminal with Tom Hanks is really good as well.
This was true in the past. Airline Pilots were respected and always revered by everyone, because if you think about it, while flying a 747/757 they are really are those passenger's God for those 220-260 passengers or (souls).
For however long that flight is you are in their hands.
This is movie is in my rainy day collection. I quote every line lol
You gotta watch Vince Vaughn in Be Cool… came out in 2004 “hilarious and great cast too!”
You cannot complete your Tom Hanks journey please include Apollo 13 true story.. A League of their own (true story) Bridge of spys
The Beach!!!!
Ohh yes unique movie!
I loooove this movie its so good. Have you seen Wolf of Wallstreet? Leo never misses.
Definitely watch castaway if you haven't seen it. Tom hanks does a fantastic job in that one!!
A couple recommends for other Tom Hanks films is:
ROAD TO PERDITION (old school gangster flick) from 2002, and
THE 'BURBS from 1989 (truly hilarious classic comedy).
You're Welcome plus I love your movies you react too I hope to see more.
Dude, I feel so old... "Martin Sheen... is that Charlie Sheen´s dad?" Yeah, how about Channel Family; Major should be educated the greatness of Martin Sheen, right? Apocalypse Now Redux, The Departed and Wall Street for starters?
Brooo I can’t believe u watched this movies. Not many reactors have. I recommended it too
Plus that's 4 million in the sixties be like 40 million today.
Another really great Tom Hanks movie is Apollo 13 and The Post. You should watch both.
Secret Service used to cover counterfeiting.
Dude...seriously....ALLLLLL Tom Hanks films are good, great, worthy of watching...even the corny ones. Some of my favorites that I don't think you've seen yet are:
The Terminal
Apollo 13
Captain Phillips
Sully
Big

Blood Diamond. Another worthy Leo film.
Please watch blood diamond it is one of his best movies!
This movie was based on a true story, until it was found out that frank Abignail is just a compulsive liar
His father was kind of a con artist too
Way too much talking and yelling from you.. you start going off and thinking and then at the same time looking away from the screen when things are happening that you should be hearing and taking in but instead you’re thinking about something you just seen and talking..? 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ come on dude. @@thejamppa Ah right, Gangs of New York is another great one.
Leo's first movie was This Boy's Life, with Robert DeNiro. He was showing his acting chops back then.
Don’t forget what’s eating Gilbert grape
Get ready for the next one too. Killers of the Flower Moon. It might be better than anything he's ever done before.
Secret service also handles a lot of money stuff
Technically, the model paid HIM for the night. He gave her a fake check, she gave him $400
This movie was so incredibly well done ! Amazing script amazing cast amazing director all around stellar story telling!! A masterpiece!! 👍🏼
Great reaction! Gotta watch Cast Away. My favorite Tom Hanks movie from 2000. Nominated for best actor.
This is a movie that I just randomly walked into one day, killing some time and had no idea about any of it but I did know that John Williams scored the music for it so I took a chance and was blown away by it🛫💥💯✨
Such a great score too
My favorite Leonardo Dicaprio movies (aside from this one):
Based on true stories:
The Wolf of Wall Street
The Aviator
Other:
Gangs of New York
Don't Look Up
I love The Aviator - it’s so under-rated or overlooked, & I think he gives an incredible performance as Howard Hughes.
There are SO many must-see Tom Hanks movies, I had almost forgotten about this one, and I LOVE this movie!
Here are some of my favorite Tom Hanks movies (aside from the ones you've already seen or are planning to react to soon):
Based on true stories:
Apollo 13
A League of Their Own
Saving Private Ryan
The Post
The Terminal
Captain Phillips
Charlie Wilson's War
A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood
Other:
Cast Away
Big (young Tom Hanks)
Road to Perdition
The escort Jennifer Garner was also ELektra in daredevil Ben Affleck movie and Before that Alias show as Spy college student. Great show lol
Such a good movie. Wolf of Wallstreet should also be on the list! Plus, my usual recommendation of The Count of Monte Cristo :)
Another great Tom Hanks movie is Sully where he plays Captian Sullenberger and lands an airplane on the Hudson river
I love the way they recreated his appearance on TO TELL THE TRUTH as a prologue to the story. And Tom Hanks' reaction when he realizes he's been fooled is priceless
I've never once said ''concur'' without subconsciously thinking of this movie
Great movie! Frank Abagnale from my hometown New Rochelle, New York! 💪😎😂
What up my brother. I love your reviews as always. This kid was light years ahead of himself. In those days, there were not a lot of systems in place to control these types of crimes. Gotta watch the wolf of wall street some day, amazing DiCaprio movie
Yes!!! I love this movie
Yo Major you should do Quentin Tarantino's "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood" with Leo/Brad Pitt/Pacino/Kurt Russell/Margo Robbie. It's a banger
This movie is so great! And green mile I’m so hyped for! Another great Leo movie is blood diamond.
For Green Mile, have tissues ready. It will rip your heart out a few times. Still sob when I watch it.
What’s Eating Gilbert Grape is a must
I bought this DVD as soon as it came out, and have watched this movie a bunch of times. Frank Abagnale Junior has an amazing story, and the shit load of millions he’s made sense then is crazy!
Get them cheeks Frank, Get them cheeks lmao. Great movie and reaction man
I was so happy to see that thumbnail MAN I needed this right now 💪🏾
I love The Man in the Iron Mask! Magnificent valor! The scene where Aramis “sawed the beam” also never fails to crack me up.
This movie always feels fresh each time I watch it too because of all the twists and turns of the chase.
Also. BIG. Is by far deff one of Tom hanks best movies highly recommend also if you love TOM
I'm with you man... Such an incredible movie and story.. and the fact it's true just keeps blowing you away as you watch. Thanks for covering it. 😎👍💯🔥
Leo movies you need - what’s eating Gilbert grape (with Johnny Depp) and Shutter Island which is really underrated. And Romeo + Juliet, if you’re ready for modernized Shakespeare and tripping
Yay! Such an amazing movie, one of my favorites! 😍 Anything with Leo is so good and same with Tom Hanks! So excited to watch you react to this!
You should watch the movie BLOW with Jonny Depp. It's like the Forest Gump of his career, in my opinion. Then there's Jack Sparrow.
Philadelphia! Hanks and Denzel Washington and Leo in The Basketball Diaries and What’s Eating Gilbert Grape ❤
The reason he said mr Fleming is author Ian Fleming wrote the James Bond books that eventually became movies 🎥!!!
Major speaking of James Bond you should watch it, maybe start with Casino Royale or rewatch Goldeneye
lol the "ramen from a chinese restaurant" was Lo Mein
The fact that he only studied for 2 weeks and based the state bar in Louisiana says that if he just kept his nose clean given his age when he did he would have made millions as a lawyer
Apollo 13 is an amazing film also starring tom hanks
The scene in Mont-Richard was filmed in Québec City :) The policemen are all Quebecers.
You should defo do What’s eating Gilbert Grape.
Leo, Johnny and Juliet Lewis.
15:31 you should know that back in those days pilots were like celebs
27:30 that's what it would cost today and not with a known supermodel, they clearly didn't bother to adjust this for inflation
54:54 you missed his cameo when they were in france, he was one of the french police officers when they arrested him
I don't know if anyone had mentioned this but I recall seeing somewhere that the officer who took Leo to the car when they are in France and he was getting arrested was the real Frank Abagnale Jr.
Awesome movie! Hey major are you gonna bless us with a scream 6 reaction once it’s available? 🙏🏽
I loved this movie. I just watched it 2 days ago. I never get tired of it. Good pick.
You really should watch the count of monte cristo
One of my favourites
Castaway 💯you got to see ✨definitely top 10 of Tom Hanks movies 😀🛫
Okay, the best two Leo movies are The Departed and Gangs of New York
I think you would enjoy The Beach, an early Leo movie, he loses his mind!
Watch A League of Their Own for more amazing Tom Hanks
I’m actually going to say top5 of his movies 😀🛫
Wolf on wallstreet is another really good DiCaprio
The real Frank is the one who arrested Leo in France. 🎉
