My personal opinion about this place -
Z point / z point trekking peak , Kemmangundi , Sri Krishnarajendra Hill station , Chikmagalur Karnataka , India :
Z point in Kemmangundi which is in Chikmagalur ( Karnataka , India ) is extremely beautiful and also photogenic. The Trek is a very mesmerizing experience altogether. I have personally enjoyed my solo visit to this place Z Point in Kemmangundi.
Chikmagalur in Karnataka , India definitely has some amazing places to explore.
According to reports, it is often visited during early morning and also in the evenings to witness a beautiful sunset at Kemmangundi / Z Point Peak. However, when I visited, I got to see a completely different scenary altogether which I definitely enjoyed a lot to be honest.
Z point trek - easy Trek with just a few small difficult patches. Anyone can do it.
Crowd in Kemmangundi Trek - Usually crowded during weekends ( according to few blog posts). I visited on a Monday, so i was lucky. Just was few people were there. 5-6 of them.
Weather in Z Point / Kemmangundi - Very Pleasant. Early morning might be mildly cold due to wind. If you are used to cold weathers, you will not feel cold at all. Otherwise, please carry a jacket / sweater.
Locating Z point on Google map - Not exactly correct ( the point which I selected ). You need to follow the same road for another 5 kms approximately to reach the gate.
Kemmannugundi is a hill station in Tarikere taluk of Chikkamagaluru district in the state of Karnataka, India. It is 1434m above sea level. This was the summer retreat of Krishnaraja Wodeyar IV and as a mark of respect to the king, it is also known as Sri Krishnarajendra Hill Station (source: wikipedia)
