This video was not recorded illegally, i was given permission, but i still didn't get too obvious because i didn't want to distract the cast/audience with my bright light camera :D
As many times as my wife and I have traveled from South Carolina to the theater district in New York and to the red steps ticket booth, I never saw this show advertised or we would have definitely purchased tickets. I happened to see the TMC theater. full version of the show on UA-cam, and was blown away by the creativity, storyline, music and the choreography. I can only imagine what the full off-Broadway show was like. A BIG FAT BRAVO TO EVERYONE INVOLVED!
I'm so happy to say that i saw this in person. i cried so hard. this show will forever be an inspiration to me. so will all the people involved in it, performers, creators, crew, EVERYONE. i couldnt have picked a better show to watch the closing performance and i'll NEVER forget it, especially as it was my 5th time. Altar Boyz will always be my favorite show. and it's messages are hilarious and meaningful. thank you
We had a blast doing this show and the last performance was amazing. Thank you all for your support!
God truly put the talent and "rythym" in all of you! Beautifully done. Any chance you guys will do it again? Ya'll got "crunk!" "Ya got it all up in ya, boys." LoL God bless
A local theatre company put it on this week and it was very well done, from the singing down to the dance steps. Thank goodness the rights to works like Altar Boyz can be purchased.
Thanks for posting this. I wish I could have been there. Watching this for the first time at the office left me wiping away tears - I still get a little ferklempt even now on the 10th rewatch. I can't believe the Boyz are really gone.
I gotta admit. That was pretty sweet for a final performance of one of the greatest songs ever written. And such a great show itself. Bravo!
Saw this show multiple times on tour & in NYC...miss it so much!

Awsome!! im a big FAN from Argentinaa!! I love this show!! i wanna see it again! are they comming back?
😮 godammm Cheyenne Jackson
and i heard something about Mark and Juan getting together? In our version Mark is deeply in love with Matthew.. :D oh, hungarians! :D
is there a full version of it with the dialogue? PLEASE?
Unfortunately I was only given permission to record once dialog had ended and music began :(
can someone tell me what is the ending in this musical? because in the hungarian version Luke dies in overdose... but as I can see in the original he does not :D
this song is the ending. they have all come clean (except abe who did't) about signing solo deals amd that is the reason the soul censor is stuck at 4. as each one starts singing their part of this song their soul has been cleansed until the number has come to zero and thy have all been honest with each other
Tamra Sheehan thank you. yes I know that this is the final song it was just so weird I had the know the ending story. in the hungarian version this song is really deep, Luke dies, everybody cries it has a good message. but I like happy endings too :-) thank you for your answer!
glad to help!
