This track is a perfect amalgamation of their very early 2000s sounds I loved so much and their new catchiness.

This might be one of my favorite songs of theirs ever. My heart will always be for the late 90s early 2000s stuff, but I have always managed to also enjoy the more divisive catchy stuff they’ve done in between, if not quite as much. This to me feels like they are combining the two in the best possible way and I love it
Yea 100% I got into them pretty late and started at sirens and worked backwards. So I enjoy quite alot of the newer stuff. But a combo of that with the older heavy 👌
That is Happy Metal. Put's a smile on your face, uplifting and full of energy.
I have seen them live three times and never been disappointed. They sound almost exactly the same live as on the record, don't know if they have backtracks. BUT what makes them great live is that they really connect to the audience and give so much energy.
Fun fact the drummer and one of the guitarist is from the US.

Inedeed i have to agree this is In Flames perfection ^^
but there are quite a few other songs from their old stuff, that measures this track!
In Flames - Trigger, then u can also look at Soilwork - Rejection Role (and if u look at both music videos, then u see they are both battling whos the best swedish metalcore in both videos)
In Flames - Cloud Connected(same cinematronic way to make a music video)

I saw them twice almost 10 years apart. My favorite show in 2012, they co-headlined with Trivium and that was amazing. It was their first show of that tour.

Regarding chorus vocals. Seen IF live 3 times and they have been my fav band for last 20y of my life as nothing compares. Anders is my fav screamer due to his unique tone but he can't sing cleans live if his life depended on it. As much as he is great at screams he is terrible at cleans. I wish he could sing that chorus but there is no chance in hell he can come even remotely close.
For Come Clarity stuff he usually used clean screams with a couple pure cleans and live he always screamed the chorus with backup tracks doing the clean so it sounds great live. New songs that he performed live couple months ago it was either mic too far from his mouth so that backup track takes over or screams instead of cleans.
Haha wtf. The ”Let it go” in the start.. I was a bit uncertain on what I really started 😂
The only thing I hate about this song is I didn't get to see it live, I saw them live back in September and I will argue Anders' vocal performance is incredible

If you follow In Flames on Social Media you can listen to some Snippets from other songs from the album and honestly all sound Amazing. I Think this could be one of the best albums they have ever made. OK i need to say i love all of their album so im a bit of a Fanboy i guess. But i would say this goes in the direction of Reroute to Remain or Sound of a Playground Fading.
The funny thing is that a lot of people hated on Siren Charms, yet this still has a lot of the sound of that album. I loved that album, and this song is a beast!

Definitely worth a listen if you got some spare time.

I’m flames have always been labelled “melo-death” (melodic death metal) but they definitely lean a little into metalcore these days
In Flames is one of those "Ship of Theseus" bands that have no original members. The Halo Effect is composed of all ex-In Flames members, including the vocalist.

Your statement isn’t entirely accurate dude. Yes, Jesper Stromblad formed the band. But, the first album and ep was all pretty much just studio musicians. They played a handful of shows and really didn’t become In Flames until Anders and Bjorn joined in 1995. Anders and Bjorn are 100% just as important and original as Jesper was. They actually stuck with the band and gave a shit. Anyway, the new album is incredible and it will be considered an In Flames classic 🔥🤘🔥🤘
