Yes and I just looked up the ingredients since I have rosacea and skin care is very important to me but I don’t understand why they call this a “skincare foundation” when it contains, Citrus Limon (Lemon), Citric Acid, Parfum (Fragrance), Fruit Extract (Lemon), and essential oils in it like lemon again?? Citrus fruits and juice like lemon is very harsh on skin overtime I normally do not use any skincare that contains lemon on skin or citric acid as it usually gives skin irritation (I don’t know why they call it skin care foundation”) when it contains these ingredients and lemon fruit extract is the second ingredient but maybe it’s just me. Edit: I know why they call it skincare now since it is called “HD skin hydra glow skincare foundation with hyaluronic acid” so gives hydration because of the hyaluronic acid but I don’t understand why they add Limon,citric acid (which is Citrius), Fruit extract of lemon all together if this is a skincare line since normally when I think about skin care, lemon juice and extract do not comes in mind especially if it is the second ingredient listed after water also if you look it up, it has a shelf life of 6 months meanwhile the original has 12 months I’m confident that many foundation these days call itself as a skincare foundation just because hyaluronic acid because I looked at the rest of the ingredients and most is not “skin care” and you can easily get hyaluronic acid in your daily moisturizer
Absolutely. I already have my skincare routine down. Accidentally mixing the wrong products because my makeup is full of skincare too, is just a disaster waiting to happen.
The original formula of this foundation is actually Reboot not Ulta HD. They are 2 very different foundations on purpose. The new HD Hydra glow is a cleaner hydrating,skin like and long wearing foundation for dryer skin. I work for the brand and we are in the process of reformulating all products to ensure they are meeting the European ingredient standards, which are much more strict and clean than the US. These 2 foundations are for 2 very different skin types but both are equally high performing and beautiful ❤
Is the brand discontinuing Reboot soon? It’s my favorite foundation. I’m asking because I noticed there is only a few bottles of it left at my Sephora.

My fave bronzer got discontinued around 2016 & I still haven’t found one that looks as pretty & natural on me 🥺 Also my fave 3 in one face wash/mask/exfoliator got reformulated around the same time & the packaging is nicer but the product is not & my skin has been dry & problematic ever since 😫🙁
I prefer the old one. Tired of the glowy-skincare gimmick when most skincare concerns should be dealt with using products tailored to my needs. These formulations usually end up interacting with other products and best case scenario my t-zone looks oilier earlier in the day.
My super super dry skin needs all the help it can get, even with skin care - foundations never looked right on me until this “gimmick” started - just offering another opinion because not everyone has oily skin

@@lad9732 fair enough but MUFE is a reputable brand, and so maybe bc it’s over saturated it’s fair to criticize, but in this case it’s just really nice to have a product that works - totally matte used to be the norm and I used to struggle with the original HD formula even though it still was like the best at the time, hopefully they keep both lines going and cater to both types above just gimmicks like you say

It’s so annoying because even though I’ve always had dry skin, it’s never been this bad before and my makeup used to lay so much better. Oily skinned people have it so easy lol.

I think I prefer the original side to be honest.... maybe if your skin is really dry and you're looking for a more moist/dewy finish, people might like the new formula
I prefer the og too, glowy foundations bring out imperfections like crazy and it did on you as well. Not being mean just saying. Also they were def two different shades and the og was darker so it looked more makeup like from the jump.
I like the way that it looks on you. I hate that it has avocado oil since I'm allergic. It's getting annoying for me since a few of the new foundations out have included this oil as an ingredient. Great if you can use it since avocado oil is so good for your skin but not so much for those of us who are allergic.
Is this a paid partnership with makeup forever? Honestly I dont see anything worth the hype here. I thought it emphasized texture, pores and looks kinda greasy. The Maybelline Dream Radiant foundation that performs WAY better for $12 and has the longevity. I just wanted to know the truth if it was a paid partnership no big deal but I dont think any gals should run out and get this $50 foundation with a biased review. For anyone looking for something with all those claims try the Maybelline Dream Radiant foundation its lightweight, affordable and so under appreciated its amazingly beautiful! ❤

The original original back from around 2016 was insanely good. I used it on all brides back then.

I love Makeup Forever. There's a good reason their products are pricier. I won't say that about every expensive product. Theirs are phenomenal.

I really loved their water face and body foundation and it never settled in my lines, and they discontinued :( I hope this might replace it
