Here's a "modern variation" of a Guaguanco from Matanzas... This is in no way meant to Replace or Disrespect the Traditional way of playing this style Guaguanco...
This is just another way to approach this pattern and possibly implement it in various styles of music.

I love this rhythm from Matanzas. On 3 drums. You can't always have 3 other drummers like you said.Nice because you don't have to depend on anyone else being there.

Yeah, this is game changer for me, cause you BREAK it down so slowly and go more in depth of the history of the rhythms. I've learned from all the greats; Raul Rekow, Giovanni, Armando, Eric (Marc Anthony), but what you bring to the table (for me) is my missing link which you showing them little nuances that MAKE a big difference when playing.......

Hi, friend. Respectfully. To heal your face and skin you can do the following:
* 1/2 glass of water
* 1/2 lemon
* A pinch of baking soda

The earliest form of guaguancó was played with what we would now call "Son Clave" believe it or not. Great video though man :)

MiTimbal Videos what is crazy... I was actually planning to release a video of him today.... but I held off because personally he’s one of the hardest congueros to try to emulate... but now that he’s passed away... I’m going to hold off... very sad day for us that admired his playing.
I prefer this guaguanco from Matanzas rather than from Havana .
