There needs to be fines for umps who throw you out of the game after your done talking and have completely turned their backs to the umpire! That’s ridiculous, they’re already in the dugout and going forward.
Just ONCE I'd like to see an umpire toss a player for something petty, and the player and team just say, "No, he's staying in". Then keep him on the field. What are the umpires going to do? Call a forfeit with 40,000 screaming fans? Umps can get out of control fast and toss guys because their feelings get hurt.
Some of these ejections are completely understandable. You can't continuously argue and hold up the game regardless if you are right or the umpire is. Other ejections are completely bogus and shouldn't have happened.
