"But these go to eleven" :D Your adorable daughter is quoting Spinal Tap without knowing it :D You are all wonderful and thank you for visiting my country.
Apparently, she was quoting Spinal Tap without any of us knowing! Thank you for that wonderful nugget of information and thank you so much for your kind words :)
When you land, take a deep breath, let your shoulders down and relaaaax. Copenhagen will make you a human again. Many green spots in Copenhagen but If you want a non urban day I can recommend "Dyrehaven", a forest with lots of protected deer and the worlds oldest amusement park (Yep, situated in a forest!) or a trip to the nearby "Amager Strandpark" with sandy beaches and happy Danes. The new driverless Metro have a city ring that departs every 3 minutes so no need for studying timetables. Same metro will also bring you from the airport to centre of Copenhagen faster than a car, inside 15 minutes. I can also recommend to rent a bike to explore or get around the bicycle friendly city. Enjoy!
I watch this because I live here in Copenhagen. But I get a sweet vibe from you guys, that I have to compliment. A combination of wits and love, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Maybe it's the feeling that your sweet daughter seems to have a great time. Nothing like kids to judge honestly! You must be doing something right! Bless y'all!
@@abroadwiththeburrells It is a fun misconception. The spiral ramp was designed for the purpose of bringing up books to the library and equipment to the observatory by horse and carriage. So the reason is for horses (and carriages) to be able to ascend the tower, but not because of the King's preferences. The Czar of Russia Peter the Great did ride up by horse in 1716.

I think you must be musically gifted, you get the pronunciations of certain difficult danish words surprisingly correct!
Greetings from a local 🇩🇰. I totally agree with Knud Sandbæk Nielsen 👍😊👍.
I'm from Japan. I want to go to Denmark someday. Copenhagen is very beautiful city and food culture.
You are one of a very few English speakers who pronounce Nyhavn correctly. Well done!
Nice guys! Thanks for sharing. 11 tall it is, Zoo!😊

Reminds me of "In Bruges" with the small staircase
Can you try going to “Fløng” its near copenhagen (københavn) i live in “Fløng” and its a good place in my opinio.
Perhaps that's a city we can add in the future. Thanks for the recommendation!
Fun fact. The round tower is "ramped" because our heavy king perfered horses transporting him. Espacially on climbs. 🤭
Haha! Hilarious!

@@mikeyb2932 Ahhh! That makes a ton of sense. Though, as you said, that reason is not as fun as the other🤣
