The best compromise for tyres I've found is bkt. Me Deutz came on expensive Michelin and only lasted 3500 hours the front was smooth and the rears 10mm! To be fair she runs near 40mph and did alot of road work but the vredestein are wearing very well but don't grip as well and do more damage to the soil. Cheaper Michelin, trelleborg and contis had sidewalls splitting. Oh and Firestone the treads seems to de-laminate which looks terrible. They all cost a bloody fortune as well!😂😂

Got 6500 hrs out of a set of BKT Agrimax in just over 5 years. Fair bit of roadwork with either a 3 bag fert spreader or 1500l mounted sprayer hanging of the back
Tianli tires good tire have set on a t7.235 45% left done 3500hrs 65% road work 18t kane or a 2500 tanker on her and there big fitting they r wot they say there 710/70r38 an she do a good 57/58kph on the road
Didn't personally have much luck on the pirrellis Sidewalls splitting same with the contis. Seen problems with budget michelins but not so much on the high end vf/if
@@hsagri69 we got Pirrellis on a Deutz Fahr Agrofarm100 that’s 08plate with 6000 hours done a lot of yard and field work and still on same tyres side walls starting to crack. Deutz Fahr Agrostar 6.81 on Pirrellis and the Deutz Fahr DX4.70 was on Pirrellis that was 1986 with 8000 hours change them to Alliance now 3 years ago, had a New Holland T6030 on Michelin 5000 and nearly bold and prone to puncture swapped that for McCormick MC130 that’s on continental that’s on 5000 hours and probably 50% but not very good for traction and side wall not very good. JCB on BKT at 5000 hours and it’s nearly at 1000 hours and still 70% tread mainly all yard work and some field work really can’t fault them. Herd some Pirrellis not been very good.

Is it me or are the premium brands especially the very high ends tending to be more problematic and less reliable than the "budget brands" 🤔

It does depend on what ur doing a bit I suppose . Yeah did price them out of curiosity. They're really not cheap

Got bkts on smurf lot of freinds run them. Can't fault them on the budget end on tractors. Heard of people having bad luck on trailers though

We run bkt on alot of stuff and never had any problems
Tractors yes but known people had problems with implement tyres
