I can't be the only one 70% finished with a v0.1 build and wanting to start over with a LDO kit. Looks absolutely brilliant!
Like 30% of the way here. Thankfully it's all misc stuff and none of the majors, so I can use for something else.
One day later though, would have been in the same boat..
@@kylesreef2989 I'm back to waiting for parts. Had parts I thought would work but clearance isn't proper. It'll be a hard decision if PS doesn't sell out of the kits immediately. I have no need for a second 0.1, but that is a nice piece of kit, and all in one box.

As someone who has spent as much time doing wiring (primarily figuring out the safest/best routing) as the mechanical assembly on a V0.0, that premade loom has me tearing up right now.
I have a feeling they're going to have trouble keeping these in stock. It's gonna be like buying a graphics card right now.
Awesome, I wish this was available before I started my 2.4 built. I recommend only to start the built once you have every single item at hand. It’s very frustrating have the built stop every few days..

If only LDO Motors had Voron V0.1 resellers besides Printed Solid that would ship outside USA. Lucky you got yours, nero, PS won't even ship to Canada: "Not available to our customers in Canada due to customs/export/import concerns."

I have not even started by V2.4 build yet, and I already want to buy this kit.... I am not going to at least until my 2.4 is done. Then maybe after any bugs of this kit are ironed out next year. :)

Looks like a good kit, but I’ll wait a build plate bigger than a drink coaster.
I had bad luck with ldo rails, three of the seven rails were mehh.
But the motors and the frame kit look good, I am using Makerbase xl for all of the frame and ldo extrusions for the moving parts, because they are lighter.
Wish they did this for a 2.4 it would save a ton of time.

Is there some way to "pre-register" for a LDO kit? I am from europe and would be pleased to build it with LDO :-)

This kit looks impressive but I hope there are options to make it a bit cheaper. Like all the manual labour that had been put cutting, crimping, soldering etc to make all to size, tools... I think there will be a bunch of people that only want the good materials as cheap as possible.
Well darnit... now I want to build a v0.1 for rapidly making small parts...
I want to buy a v 0.1 LDO Kit. But im confused with the Extruderoptions. In the Manual i only see Direct Feed, but many Guys say use Bowden on v 0.1
But where can i find the Manual for Bowden?
And which Bowden Extruder? M4, LGX or something else?!
Its a self build. So any external extruder you want. Also need to use the v0.0 toolhead

whats the shenanigans regarding the dragon hotends?
The Mosquito hotend people threaten Phaetus with their lawyers.
Ridiculous they have a patent for bits of their hotend, that don't seem to be of sufficiently original design for that to be valid.
So Phaetus withdrew the Dragon hotend from the market.
Usual Chinese companies just laugh at Americans trying to threaten them, but I guess they didn't want the threat of items being ceased if imported to the US.
They might be available again now however.
(They also trademarked "Bimetallic heat break" which isn't even a name it's just a description of what it is...)
