Mark Fearnley, a UK-based fine art street photographer, transitioned from painting to photography to broaden his creative horizons. Inspired by the similarities between painting and photography, such as composition, focal point, and the use of light, Fearnley embraced photography as another avenue for artistic expression. He initially experimented with reflections in puddles and glass, gradually incorporating layers into his compositions.
Fearnley's preference for high contrast and black and white imagery emerged as he explored the visual possibilities of his new medium. Rather than seeking out specific individuals, he focuses on capturing scenes with graphical, geometrical forms, and minimalistic elements. His photography often highlights the interplay of light, lines, shapes, and patterns to imbue his solitary subjects with mood and significance against the backdrop of vast architectural landscapes.

This guy is the real deal, Im sorry but he puts all other photogs of today in a 2nd class by comparison. He's just crazy good!! He has officially set his bench mark as Masterful along with- Henri Cartier-Bresson, Ansel Adams, Robert Frank-etc all are his piers .

This is an awful lot of b&w city images with a silhouetted individual framed in an interestingly shaped light area. They're crafty, for sure, like a cop in the jaws of a monster painted on the wall behind him, and the compositions are thoughtful and exposures near perfect - but too many with same look and feel. Look at the work of Charis Ioannou, for example. Way more variation in the compositions and content.

sadly most of these are good, but boring and do not really project amything intersting . unless 1 likes this sort of art...for inspiation on creativity 1 might want to check such masterwork as shown by rodney smith.. just to menbtion 1 many.
