C’mon Steve, keep up, Steve.... Steve? Oh, he’s gone back to Orlando. Very good info in all three vids. Thanks. It’ll help me set up my Fox.
Thanks for all the videos on the glider! Sony's FDR-AX53 is a great camera for hand held filming RC flying. It has a floating/stabilized lens inside the camcorder. It takes most of the bumps out when zoomed in on a plane.
Very nice motor glider. Quietly drooling. Might have to get me one next Christmas
Great flying by the way!
nice review rich.cant wait to maiden mine
Rich I think you showed some nice potential of catching a thermal, nice mixed flying demo, Jeff in LA
Nice glider
Hi. This glider looks very stable.. Would it be a good glider for a novice.. Going to learn on the easy glider 4
Neat!
Thanks for the vid. Did you end up doing some thermal flying with it? I'd love to see its capabilities in that area before I go ahead and buy one.
No... I have not had a chance. However, folks have been telling me that they can stay up for well over an hour if conditions are right:)
@@RCINFORMER Oh wow... I wasn't expecting anything that long. It would be interested to hear if anyone could corroborate.
I just got this plane and looking for batteries. I like the idea of doing 2 parallel 6s 5000 like it says it can but not sure if that's really worth it. You say a lighter battery is better for gliding but 2 batteries would make better momentum. I would love to get atleast 20 minutes of flight with gliding and fast low passes. Just looking for some advice if you have any on what I should do.
There is certainly plenty of space for two 6 cell batterys... however that may really throw your CG off & add a lot of weight that is not really necessary.... If I were you I would set it up with 1 single 6S 5000 lipo and try it and see what kind of flight time you get out of it. You may find that one 5000 pack gives you the time you need... if not you can add a second later:)
What are you on Dude?

Hey Rich, what were final mode settings for the FOX 3M Glider:
What was the CG for the 3300 mah
What was the respective control surfaces throws 125, 100, and 70%...?
Thanks, Jim M.
About 100 to 105mm on the CG.... I set up rates at 60%, 100% & 125% ..... respectively... NO EXPO on my setup.
"let's see if we can do some aerobatics without power" proceeds to give it power. Extra weight will actually help this plane do what it is intended to do . power off aerobatics. This is not a thermal sailplane and while sure you can thermal it, it is not that type of sailplane. camber and reflex are of no value on an aerobatic sailplane as a rule, but certainly flaps coupled with ailerons would be of great benefit as would crow for landing since there are no spoilers.
If I have read it correctly, the ailerons and flaps are again combined with Y cable. Is there a way to easily change this?
So that I can program every single oar?
Or is it difficult to get to the point?
Actually I was getting ready to mess with mine and I think it'll be easy to separate the ailerons and the flaps.... I have not gone in and looked at everything yet but I think you can have each aileron and each flap on a separate channel if you want:)
Rich, can you tell me what the telemetry unit that you are using that is external. I can't seem to find one like that. Thanks
Sir, if you have the time... how wide is the battery bay? Thanks
Just got the fox, just setting up.. IS there any carry bags for this size model, not found on sites… Going to use a Futaba T1sz, any setup tips from anyone
Why haven't you set the esc brake?
Where did you get the telemetry unit?
It was a HobbyKing QUANTUM Telemetry unit.... It was probably one of the best units made however they stopped producing it for some reason:(
Hi,
How much electricity does the drive pull at full throttle?
That is a parameter I never bothered to check... It didn't seem necessary since I don't run the motor very much on this glider:)
You made me lol when you said you didnt want to hog the field....ffs u then went and did just that....pmsl
Nice glider though.
In your opinion which is better- monitor the flight pack voltage or the flight pack current?
I watch mostly the total mah usage as if it were a gas gauge... voltage should be ok if you do not use more than 70 to 80% of the packs total capacity.
Btw dont the have a 7000mah 6s battery ?
Dude your wired!!,,Have another cup of coffee !
Insects are B rated
1st... L@@L
Man you talk way too much Rich. Ditch the mic, it's also too much. I need to turn the volume down. To much umm's and uhhh's and you should just fly the plane instead of all the talk.
You're the only one who thinks that... besides, how do I pass on tips, knowledge and information without narration?
Seriously? Narration is probably more important than video for getting hands-on insight.
He,s giving honest Narrated Demonstrations of whats happening as he flys the Plane to let you know what to expect when purchasing a Particular Plane....You Tool You....
Not to mention that he had people there staring to get pissed off because he was hugging the entire runway for himself for the longest...😅...
Greg Heckert Hey ass wipe why don’t you f#ck off and do your own channel. You pinche troll.
You talk too fast....Why ?
john meksa Hey ass wipe clown why don’t you f#ck off and do you own channel.
I am glad to have found your channel. You're a whole different level of expert and I mean in all fields!! 🤗
