He said in an interview that he had about 48 hours to learn these lyrics. They provided him cue cards for rehearsal, but allegedly/supposedly he didn't use or have them for the live performance later that morning.
I saw it live in Mid November with my son for his 12th birthday. Absolutely incredible. Seeing Alex Brightman is an experience for sure. And the rest of the cast is incredible as well.
