Thanks. In the "Tempo di minuetto", they leave far behind them other interpretations - even Grumiaux and Haskil. They catch the melancoly of the piece with supreme delicacy. Szigeti 's violin really cries, but I think that Horszowski deserves much of the applause. His introduction is a model of interiority and sour singing.
Oh! what a so grandioso and graceful bowing articulation it is. nobody plays the bow stick on the string as like as Joseph Szigeti. I would feel he seems to talk some story through on the bow. that might be sculpture on doted music seat. 92yrs.Japanese. sorry strange English.Generaly speaking, we line with black note on the string, yeah! there are not any story or messages. just only black and white note interchange with each other repetition.
Echt wertvolle Aufnahme!
One more treasure on YT . Fifty years ago (!) I used to listen to "this" (the pure magic of Joseph Szigeti) , in my worst and best days ..... thank you , Mr. incontariomotu .
Merci beaucoup, j'ai bien aimé, ils jouent vraiment très bien tous les deux , très agréable à écouter muchas gracias tank you very much et merci à UA-cam
Was Hilary rendering better= Does better have a meaning when confronted to such people? The two renderings are different, Is anyone better? beauty is not measurable. Thanks Hilary.

Technically Szigeti was past his prime here, but still a great musician
Prof Szigeti war ein großer Musikant das
