Dr. Khalid Jamil, Head of Rehabilitation Centre for Special Person at Mayo Hospital provides us some of effective ways to be carried out for treatment of children with the symptoms of cerebral palsy. He tells us some of the powerful methods which can be used as remedy for patients for this special illness by parents. He examines a patient for diagnosing her that either is she a special patient or not? She is 1 year and 4 old.
What is Cerebral Palsy?
==========
Cerebral Palsy is a special disease of children and infants. They are basically movement disorders and having disabilities like vision and sensation. This disease can be treated by various exercises which can be conducted by the parents.
Signs and Symptoms
==========
It exists in new born babies due to lack of oxygen to brain. After birth of babies, symptoms appear after 6 months. She has not started looking as told by her father. In addition to this he states that she also does not sit, talk, and hear from nearby noise. She has felts tremor while lying on the bed. She does not recognize that where she sleeps? She also cries less while not having nipple in her mouth as narrated by father.
Dr. Khalid then provides advises for doctors, children and other related medical staff for examination of these special children. The first step which he does is making some noise in front of her ears that she responds or not? If the disabled patient hears in an unsuitable then their vision and eyesight should be checked by required staff and particular guardians. He uses a torch for checking either her eyes are working or not? He also determines that they do not blink when anything is placed near them like his hands.
Dr. Khalid concludes that the techniques can be efficiently used by parents in their houses for determining disabilities of their children. He emphasis that these symptoms must be checked within 1 month after birth of child.
He assesses that patients must examine that either special babies hold their neck or not. Neck holding can be improved with the help of medicines as prescribed by him. He also checks that she does not sit in a proper manner. He tells that the patient should be sit with the help of their hands. This method can be used by the parents. It increases her voluntarily control over her body.
He concludes that this special disease is of three categories: mild, moderate and severe. The patients who do not having seeing, hearing and movement ability result in severe cerebral palsy. They also have fever frequently. This special child is lucky that she does not have this symptom.
Treatment of Cerebral Palsy
==========
Dr. Khalid tells some of the method which can be used by parents for lessening ill effects of this special disease. He advises that these children should be kept lying on the bed by one side. It will enhance their body movements and minimize negative effects of fever.
He says that feet and other related organs of the children should be kept in a special and straight position. This exercise will be in a particular way and not just by moving them. This special child keeps her legs in a unique position which can results in other complications.
His second advise is that these patients should be kept lying on the bed inertly otherwise contractures might form on front size of her waist. Her neck should be moved in leftward or rightward direction. Her back muscles will be strong in this sense and she can easily sit.
The third treatment exercise which is told by him that the patient should be laid on the bed in an inertial position and her head should be hanging. This method will improve her neck holding ability. She should also be tingled. The parents should not be worried that crying of their children will result in some other problem. It is a normal phenomenon. He tells that crying will result in exercise of her lungs.
The fourth diagnosis of children will be checking their heart beat and chest. Their abdomen can be examined by using hands. Furthermore, he uses stethoscope to determine bowl movement or any gas problem in her body. He uses medical instrument to diagnose body movement of her knees and languages.
Treatment Procedures Which Can Be Used by Parent

Dr. Khilad finally advises some methods to be adopted by father and others parents for treatment of cerebral palsy.
1. The special children should not be given excessive food and diet. Fatness will result in delaying treatment of the handicapped patients.
2. They should not extremely pamper or loved by their parents which results in slow self curing of these patients.
3. They should not be massaged
4. They should be treated by high specialized doctors not the ordinary ones if they feels tremors or shocks.
5. Mothers should learn rehabilitation methods as if they can be effective curers.
6. The parents should not compare their children with other patients of other disorders.

Dr Khalid your presentation is very clear and informative as well.I am a Physiotherapist in Delhi NCR,though I mostly see adult cases with ortho and neuro I do see few Cerebral Palsies now.I did see a lot between 2001 to 2005 in a specialised center and I remain very keen while seeing your clarity in explanations.May almighty give you a long and healthy life.

لیکن ان سب چیزوں سے ہم بیٹی کی پیدائش تک لاعلم تھے
یہ سب انکشاف ڈاکٹر نے پیدائش کے بعد کیا کے آپ نے لاپرواہی کی
اب جب میری بیوی دوسری دفعہ امید سے ہوئیں تو ہم نے ڈاکٹر سے فورا رجوع کیا اور اپنی پہلی بیٹی کی حالت بتائی تو انہوں نے اس حساب سے ٹریٹمنٹ کیا اور خون پتلا کرنے والے انجیکشن کا کورس کروایا اور بچے کی گروتھ اور حرکات کا پراپر طریقے سے جائزہ لیا جاتا رہا ۔میں نے اپنی بیوی کے لیے نو ماہ تک صحت بخش غذا کا سختی سے خیال رکھا کسی چیز کی کمی سستی نہیں ہونے دی
جس سے الحمدلله الحمدلله میرے بیٹے کی پیدائش خیر و عافیت سے ہوئی اور اب وہ تین ماہ کا ہونے والا ہے اور بہت ایکٹیو ہے

ڈاکٹر خالد جمیل سے ٹریٹمنٹ شروع کروایا تو اس نے فورا بولنا شروع کر دیا بعد میں آہستہ آہستہ بیٹھنا بھی شروع کر دیا لیکن ابھی تک وہ اپنی سہارا کھڑی یا چل نہیں سکتی لیکن امید ہے ان شاءالله جلد مکمل صحت یاب ہو جائے گی

To families with children having cerebral palsy, there is hope and remedy for your child. It's your duty to give your child the best medical and physical intervention treatment so that the child will have a fairly normal life, be independent as much as possible and be happy. There's a whole lot more to this palsy tingy but with love and determination, you can overcome anything. Everyday look at your baby and be proud of having him or her. Try not to complain about your child or the child's act. Sometimes it may be really challenging to care for the child but remember this is your role to do and you do it best than anyone you employ to stay with your kid. Don't let anyone I repeat discourage you or try to tell you that your child has a limited life span and abilities. There are a lot of negative people out there who don't have human compassion and haven't had such an experience come their way so it's way easy for them to wag their mouths and say what they like. Stay strong! And speedy recovery.

One thing to do, at least with mild cases, is to stop treating these kids like damaged objects and teach them to exercise and love their bodies the way parents teach their little gymnasts and ice skaters. Half the problem is being seen as “disabled.” My parents never treated me that way. I went to the best schools, played sports, and I have three advanced degrees. As an adult in my 50s, I’m healthier than everyone and I walk several miles a day. Stop treating this kids as objects to be manipulated and teach them to have control. And don’t forget to get them all the magnesium, potassium, and vitamins their bodies need. Teach them to avoid sugar and processed food that will stiffen their muscles,, but don’t force them. Teach them they are healthy. It’s a one-time injury, not a disease.

سر میرے تین بچے ہیں ( بیٹا 8 سال) (بیٹی 3 سال اور پھر بیٹی 8 ماہ
میرے بیٹے کو یہی مسئلہ ھے وہ بھی سی پی ھے پر وہ سن سکتا ھے دیکھ سکتا ھے ہر بات کو سمجھ سکتا ھے ہاتھ پاؤں بھی ہلاتا ھے پر ابھی تک بیٹھ نہیں سکتا اسکو دورے بھی پڑتے ہیں اور قبض بھی رہتی ھے تھوڑی سی تھکاوٹ سے اسے بخار ہو جاتا ھے ابھی تک کھانا بھی خود اس کی ماما ھی چبا کر کھلاتی ھے عمر کے لحاظ سے وزن بھی کم ھے اور ہماری کزن میرج ھے
اور اب میری چھوٹی بیٹی جو 8 ماہ کی ھے ہمیں شک ھے کہ اسکو بھی یہی مسئلہ ھے کیونکہ وہ ابھی تک بیٹھ نہیں پائ اور اپنی گردن بھی نہیں روک پاتی

میں خود #پاک_ارمی میں جاب کرتا ھوں CMH سے علاج بھی کروا رہا ھوں پر ابھی تک کوی بہتری نظر نہیں ای مہربانی فرما کر کوی بھای ڈاکڑ صاحب کا نمبر یا ایڈریس بتا دی تاکہ ہم ان سے مل سکیں اللہ پاک سب کی اولاد کو صحت کاملہ عطا فرمائے آمین

it helps in this situation for eye simulation. and to check u can use simple torch
