If anyone is thinking of doing a muffler delete on there G37, 370z, G35, or 350z I think you should do it. In my opinion it sounds pretty loud and good. Watch the whole video so you can see how it sounds from inside and outside the car.
I will be uploading more videos on different cars and videos of my G37 IPL. Make sure you subscribe to not miss out all the sick car content and mods I do to my G37.

I think it sounds great. It's much more economical than buying and installing short tails. I did it to my Z only so I could hear the sound of the exhaust. I have no regrets.

Is this a true ipl exhaust? Stock cats and true dual? If so i want to do this to my ipl temporarily. Sounds good

@@tzizr2593 no, i actually went with a different set up, kind of like this but with an x pipe and a rev9 style axle back. Looking back at it, I should’ve just done the muffler delete and saved some way more. If you have an IPL, i would just do this
I got a 2010 coupe, got muffle and resonator , sounds perfect but that cold start to fucking loud lmao
my neighbor is fucking annoying with his its straight piped and this guy shows off every day for no reason lol funny i think he does it cause i have a 2004 Cobra in my grarage >.< im about to get a g37 as a daily how are you still liking the no res or muffler?
@@pabloaguilar2688idk if you got the car, but DO NOT delete the resonators it sounds terrible, way too raspy. If you want sound, just do muffler delete and it’ll sound great. Don’t touch the resonators

I think this is the perfect setup personally. Loud when you need it and toned down when you're not on it.
I'm still in love with the stock sound...
Stock sound is my favorite but I wish I could turn that direct sound up or louder. No change in sound, just the volume of the sound raised. It's sooo low, I can barely hear it. But the tad bit I do hear is a nice sound that needs to be louder for me

I got my muffler removed at the same place lol, I still like the sound despite the drone while cruising. Great video

Do you still hear the droning sound when you have your speakers at 50% volume? I want to do a muffler delete on my ipl but I don't want the droning sound to mask over my music.

I’m going to lower the car so the 35 is a good size 40 would look too big for my taste. I have 9 1/2 inch wheels in the front and 10 1/2 in the back

I'd say 40% louder than stock
So you're telling me I spent $3K+ on a Meisterschaft setup, and instead I could have spent a fraction by doing a muffler delete for the exact same sound?
I was gonna buy a used Meisterschaft exhaust for 1k but then I decided to try out a muffler delete for now. I think the Meisterschaft is a little louder tho.
@@jomadcars8913 Videos don't do Meisterschaft justice. It can be too loud lol I like your exhaust tone better.
If you just want sounds then muffler delete is worth it or if you want sound and profromace then after market exhaust is the way.

What size tires are you running ? Right now I have 225/45/19 in front and 255/40/19 in back.
235/35/19 in the front and 275/35/19 in the back
@@jomadcars8913 - oh okay cool man cool ! So , I have my g37 sedan 225/45/19 in front for NOW. Then I have 255/40/19 in the backs. But I want my wheels / tires to stick out more and flush the wheel GAP. Any advice...??? I don’t really wanna out spacers on.
@@dcmasta123 if you don’t want to run spacers your just going to have to get a wider wheel my wheels are 10.5 inches wide in the back that’s why the wheel sticks out a little more

also you must live in an area where you guys dont get much snow cause rear wheel in snow is a no go lol i had a q45 man oh man sand bagged the trunk all times reported of snow

But good call on the flip switch, maybe it should be hidden somewhere safe. Maybe a cap over it. I dont even mind having to go under the hood tho. Just the fact that I can do a rolling burnout in a 37x is badass af lol. Then go AWD and smoke ppl on the highway 😍 im inlove haha

Do you just ask a muffler shop for muffler delete only? I just seriously only want some nice NOISE but learning it’s way more you have to pay attention to. Is your car auto tuned? Do engine lights be on from it? Bad exhaust in the air?
Yes just say you want a muffler delete, you get no engine lights
You can go on eBay and buy them for like $150 if you wanted to keep your old muffler just in case.
If you get a cat delete/downpipe + tune your car is gonna pop

@@THEHITWONDER It should but a tune would be way better. You can arrange your RPMs and there you will have a “burble tune” as what it’s called. You can pretty much 2 step it
Needs a quality exhaust and test pipes. Imo the IPL doesn’t deserve a muffler delete 😞

Hows the drone ?
At first you really notice the drone around 2-3k rpms but I’m used to it now, it doesn’t bother me anymore
My experience with a muffler delete in this car is entirely positive. It’s affordable and the drone is only there on cold start for 30-60 seconds, and at the afore mentioned rpms. There is NO drone while highway driving and cruising. It’s a fun modification, if you aren’t into spending real money on an exhaust. This won’t bother your neighbors one bit.
