Damn I gotta admit that Padres team looks primed for a run. Cease, King, Darvish with their lineup that's a dangerous team. If their bullpen plays well in October they're gonna be a tough out in the NL
IF Astros make it to the WS I hope the Padres aren't the NL reps. It would be a short series. I guess we can add the Padres as another NL team that owns the Astros other than the Reds.
When you force batters to swing on the edges because empire calls it a strike even though is outside , is pretty much game over , empires won the series
@Leroyjenkinsthe3rdjunior I just went through every single AB of this game on the MLB app. Go to GameDay, Wrap, and click on each AB and you can do this yourself. Any pitch that was missed, I would consider as being called a ball when any part of the ball caught the zone, or a strike called when none of the ball touched the zone. I also counted borderline calls where 50% of the ball touched the zone and it was called either way. Maybe I missed some, so go do this yourself, though you probably won't so you can keep crying "cheating umpires". Calls in our favor? 5. Calls in theirs? 5. Borderline pitches in our favor? 3. In theirs? 2. I'm so tired of this umpire excuse where yall want to act like they're always soooo against us every single game. Are there games like last night? Sure, but even then there were calls that went against SD. The umpire was just bad....not against us. As for our hitters? Altuve out on 1 pitch right down the middle. 3 pitches cuz he chased down and away. 4 pitches cuz he missed the first one right down the middle. Yordan out on pitches right down the middle 3 times and chased once. Bregman out on 1 pitch twice and third AB missed one down the middle. Diaz chasing, and out on a pitch down the middle. Singleton out on 1 pitch and 3 pitches both strikes but bad pitches to swing at. Peña chase Heyward chase, 3 pitches, 2 pitches Dubon right down the middle, one pitch, and chase Meyers right down the middle The umpire had NOTHING to do with this game dude. Dylan Cease is the only one who "forced" our guys to swing at anything because he was locating like a master and we missed plenty of meatball pitches to hit, on top of swinging at practically every pitch that came in. How many ABs were over in 3 pitches or less? Get out of here with that umpire nonsense.
They needed the Padres to be close with the Dodgers to make it interesting along wwith the astros... but people hate the astros so... same old narrative...
Espada's lineups are so awful. When Bregman was hitting in front of Yordan he was red hot. When Tucker was batting 2nd he was an MVP candidate. When Yainer followed Alvarez he was beasting... He is a horrible manager. Beta all the way.
Thanks to the best sports videos maker chili 🌶.
Wow the Padres are playing great ball right now and look very tough to beat
Especially if you have a pitcher named Ort lobbing apples right down the pipe for 3 home runs.
Hey Chili ! That's great stuff ! Loved it. Tucson, AZ.
MLB organizers are looking for Ort.....they want him for the Home Run Derby....😮
Thanks Chili!! Hello from.Moline!!

They're not getting past Philly.
Praise Chili 🙏🌶️
Astros Management need to get rid of the bullpen of Ort, Hernandez, Neris, and Ferguson it they want to contend in the playoffs.
Neris looked fine yesterday. Ort, hernandez and Ferguson iono 😅
Neris is doing okay, he can stay he just needs a little improvement. But Ort and Hernandez can be dismissed
If I was in charge of demoting, then ORT just bought his ticket down.
@@nguyen925 I'm sure Ort, Hernandez and Ferguson won't be on the playoff roster but Neris should be, he thrives in high leverage spots.
Gotta hit the friggin ball.
The Padres showboating is really annoying and unsportsmanlike
It's part of the game now. I don't like it either but Astros need to get the bats hot and win to respond to showboaters.
When you hit back to back to back hrs, you can showboat all ya like… we would too. The Astros are going to have a short October….
@@Wikikiman No we don't, no fancy hats or stupid crap in the dugout for the Astros, they are professionals.
Padres always look like this in September, but come October, and they have to play a meaningful series: fold like a Lawn chair.
The Dodgers do the same thing, even worse actually.
I miss Ha-sung Kim ! Double errors by Bogaerts at 9th inning hurts Cease's big finish !!
I saw Marvel Wynn, Tony Gwynn and John Kruk do it
That was a baseball game....allegedly.
Well that stunk!
Saw Sheffield and McGriff do the exact same thing to the Stos at the Murph back in 1990 I think.
Hope the Yankees sweep the Mariners so Astros can maintain 5 game lead.
Well, Astros are humble,🤝they did let the Padres win this time ,😎🤠
Ort has always given up HR's, hopefully we don't see much more of him.
Until when Singelton at first base? It's very bad!!!

Que mala suelte tiene este lanzador Framber Valdez
Scoring 0 runs ain't gonna get it done, I don't care if prime Nolan Ryan is out there pitching
🤘🤘🤘👍👍👍
Quite possibly the most pathetic game of the season.
Dylan Cease just owns us....

@@Leroyjenkinsthe3rdjunior Basically... didnt pass the eye test for me either.

Padres are hot. Astros are not. Padres peaking at the right time.
jbanksy aint gonna like this
Not much to say about this one, really. Cease was just really, really good tonight. Gotta go get em tomorrow.
Padres want win becuz they have a bunch of young punks
Hard to win, when you can't score a single run....pathetic. Hopefully, they flip the switch once the playoffs start.
No batean lo astro

Padres are good. Ort sucks. Be a goldfish
