Honestly, the most disturbing parts about Tiger King was the film saying Doc Antle euthanized tiger cubs after they got past a certain age and Joe Exotic shooting tigers for misbehavior or whatever reason they had stated, making it seem like the tigers were strictly bred for profit.

The Big Cat Public Safety Act needs to be passed. None of these people should have them. All of their properties need to be seized and turned over to Dept of Fish and Wildlife and then government run

I love this channel and I love watching you and all the animals you care for I think it’s great and I will continue to do so however it’s disheartening hearing your support for doc, that interview with the women who worked on docs farm is enough for me to know he is a power hungry man who took advantage and brainwashed girls at a very mailable age. I’m happy that women had the strength to leave and tell her side of the story. And as for the “care “ of animals he does, it just seems like a ploy for money to me, seeming like he doesn’t have the animals best interests in mind therefore shouldn’t be allowed to run whatever type of compound he’s running. I think it comes down to the fact that all the people in Tiger King where power/ money / fame hungry and didn’t give the animals the treatment they deserved therefore they are all in a sense monsters. But you clearly care for you animals and put them first and I’m happy to see that!

I'm all for tiger conservation but private ownership just shouldn't be a thing, it should be done by people who know what they are doing and arent exploiting them and abusing them. So do I agree with Carol Haskin, yes and no, I dont think just anyone should be able to own big cats but I also dont think she should be the only one and if she is going to continue to have them she really needs to improve her facility. She jumps all over Doc but his animals are in far better enclosures

Plus, him saying that "Carol wants to be the only one with big cats." Is pretty manipulative. Like she's the ONLY other sanctuary or zoo in the U.S. 🙄 Gimme a break.

They act like she's the only sanctuary in the U.S. 🙄 She's not. Just the most vocal about the big cat act being passed. Which would make what they make a TON of money off of -- very illegal.

I don't think it is humane or right for people to privately own exotic animals simply to make profit. I think Doc takes great care of his animals, but I don't agree with Cubs being hand raised and forced to be around people their entire lives. I think tigers should be being bred simply for the purpose of releasing them into the wild in order to increase the wild tiger population. Their natural instincts and abilities should be encouraged rather than trained to act like pets.

Antle DOESN'T take care of his animals. He's got a LONG list of Animal Welfare Act violations. [Most recently (2016) he was cited for improper vet care and recurring ring worm in cubs.] (He's been seen hitting his animals) He sells tigers (and denies it) He sold 2 older cubs, last year, to a man that had already been convicted of WHIPPING one of his own tigers over 30 times
Yet Antle LOVES telling the public that the cubs "only end up at zoos and places he trusts and that have been throughly checked out beforehand." 🤔
Everything Doc does at his "zoo" is done to make money. He is NOT for conservation or preservation and he NEVER has been.
It's also why he HEAVILY opposes legislations that would regulate private wildlife ownership.
(He's spent over a million dollars fighting courts from his "rare species fund") That fund is "for" conservation but very little actually goes toward conservation
National Geographic will NOT work with him anymore (as of Nov 2019) and that says a lot.
