One of the fun things I like about spiral is that all the different skills you can customize your character with and try out different builds. One of my characters that wasn't even legendary just healed herself and allies continuously whether she received or dealt damage. She also had moderate defense to be in the front line. I always used her side by side with my heavy damage dealer units.
The biggest challenge I have with doing the Spiral, is setting aside the time to do it. I personally don't like doing them in short bursts, and prefer to sit back and go thru the story in big chunks. It also helps to keep track of what I've done each week when playing it.
@@ShowtimeDr man, pity is rough. Sorry to hear it. Glad you got her. Coulda pulled worse dupes than Momo, I suppose. Also slightly jealous of the Teadon. Hopefully your next pull comes faster.
In the long run, maneuver is better than thunderstruck. Thunder falls off pretty quick in the run as enemies get more HP. The teleport also helps you cheese the maps that require getting units to a certain spot. Yoir units will typically do more damage than the thunder can provide
I love Divine archer in sod .. thunder stuck does like 200 - 500 damage, archer at best does alot more! like 2000-3000+ and as long as he lives every turn. also distracts enemies on a tough map. or in large map he speed up clearing the map, because you can place him anywhere. Amazing! best TaLent EVER! ;)
THANK GOD with the Acambe update, they literally let you use your leveled characters (with abilities, and equip stats, but no tarots or item skills) auto battling with level 58 characters makes the grind so much more bearable
They added the ability to use your elysium units in combat so if you want to speed run you can totally trivialize all combat which seems like an odd choice
Just dropping by to say hi and good to see you much better. Im feeling better day by day too 😊. Liked and commented, might watch the video at a later stage due to spoilers.
U can now use ur Elysium unit. Honestly this is a good change. Sometimes there r just enemies whose lv gap is way too wide if u use ur story characters. Having being able to use ur Elysium characters makes this mode so much easier. Especially in this new route where ur units r way too divided.
I can't speed run it. The story is soo interesting. Acambe's dark secret. Cocoa's tragic backstory. Homa's hilarious antics. I spent the whole day today reading the dialogues in the battles enountered by my caravans and the story cut scenes every week refresh. Spiral of Destiny is the best part of this game in my opinion. Introducing lore and rewarding you with a lot of resources!
Intradesting. I did some speedrunning, I might use my current run to see how many quests you can skip and still handle the critical battles, get a route going.
recruited assassin is a great dodge tank meaning he can 2v1 and take no damage for couple of rounds. he has great speed for missions where mobility and time matter. he also has hook to setup knocking off edge of bridge or cliff. beside that if you have gloria is A+. you get offered alot of healers. abyss can be great. i disagree with takeing thunderstruck over Maneuver Command feel like being able to move a character across the map is super op. I feel like maneuver along with other commands can help you assassinate bosses or end the map immediately if needed. edit: for speed running I could see where thunderstruck would be better but I think over a full playthrough I dont think it would be

Heeey, you also chose do go down with Gloria in that Lutfi path? :D Fun ^^ Man, I love Spiral. The only gripe with it is that I wish the Beacon system would be more flexible. I wish there would be mechanics allowing me to unlock multiple beacons on multiple runs, so that I dont have to just back to week 10 or something like that to try a new branch, only. Regrinding is annoying. Thats why I am interesstied in this video. Had to go with Gloria. Spoilers are mostly in the beginning and end as you’ll see stills from endings in my achievements. But yeah to be safe not watching is the only way to not get any.
@@16BitBear it was such a freaking tragic ending, tho XD Was my first run trough the gamemode - when I thought there might be hidden variables to safe multiple people, yet. I am sure these options will come later as form of a natural story progression of the spiraling worlds, that with the knowledge of the world you gained from your trial and error you find all the pieces you need to unify the righteous and willing into the true ending or something ^^ It was helpful. Didnt deliver an efficient solution in the form I hoped but it was still helpful
I have all the endings except the bad one from Lutfi and the new ones from Elaman and I'm still trying to get the achievement of reaching radiant with the mercenary guild, I got the trade one very easily but the other one is still completing the most difficult missions and sending caravans it's impossible
I started dawn earlier with low level characters and have a long way to go. Can i abandon the run and restart? I dont want to miss out to luxites from the old spiral of destiny as well as the story before moving on to the new one
Is there any reason not to just use Elysium characters to just mow down fights on auto? You get levels through training but I don't know if there are any real downsides if you are just rerunning for different endings..
It's because it took so much time to do 1 cycle. They made the key can get expired doesn't help either. Not everyone have a lot of time to play the game. Especially most people play multiple game at the same time.
@@16BitBear I was just trying to make best girl Gloria happy, but I still got thrown into a different route. I did get a beacon out of it, so I guess I’ll revisit it on run three. Gloria/Simona/Ballista sounds like a fun core 3 to bring with Gloria’s aura.
What's the penalty for just bailing on a run? I started one right at the beginning of launch never finished. All my characters are trash and maps are a grind.

Since the newest update, now you're allowed to use your units from the main story (which doesn't consume stamina from the units from this mode).

Preference really. You get points and achievements for enemies defeated but you’ll be in the mission longer. In the long run it probably evens out.
