PEARL KITE NESTING JANUARY-MARCH 2018 EL SALVADOR

On January 21st 2018 a couple of Pearl Kite were observed building their nest, the nesting site was observed by multiple birders and on February 15th one of the adults was observed to be tearing apart pieces of a small reptile and giving it to the chicks that at that moment were visible from the observers' point of view. On March 8th two chicks were finally visible one apparently a little younger than the other. Finally the last time the chicks and the parents were observed is this observation on March 15th 2018 whenI took this video. My latest visit was on March 28th 2018 but the nest had already been abandoned.
