Its probably why its such good creepypasta bait, but both the music and visuals of Majora's Mask are somehow deeply unsettling. Combine that with the innate reactions we tend to have to games behaving abnormally, and you got yourself some grade-A spook.
After three and a half years, new glitches are still being discovered for BotW. This is amazing. Kudos to the glitch-hunting and game-exploiting community.

Thx for uploading again you are the reason why I decided to go further and expnoit the game mechanics. It s 100000 times more fun after you finished the game completely😃
I found a strange glitch a while ago. It isn’t related to the Hinox curse, but I think it is still interesting. If you aim your bow while on horseback, then go into your menu and equip or unequip a shield or sword, link’s bow stays drawn, but it returns to his neutral bow stance. I haven’t found anything else that this glitch affects, but if anyone wants to mess around with it, it’s really easy to perform.
Kleric it is so exciting that I missed the lizalfos curse but not this!! Also thank u for using singular they to refer to the hinox, brought my heart joy.
I cant be the only one who's absolutely addicted to this channel right? I dunno but the editing is always spot on and his sense of humour is another level 😂
My guess as to why this "curse" happens from a game dev aspect is that your target enemy is pushed out of bounds and ends up at world position 0,0,0. Link has an active enemy that he stares at or pivots toward so he's probably looking at a point in space that's really far away and deep in the ground. Most games I've worked on you can teleport to the "world origin" and see all kinds of stuff show up there that shouldn't. When the math fails, things end up there. Link's head and lower torso have rotation biases that blend on top of animations to have him twist a bit towards or away from things of interest. With the enemy being light years away, things gets wonky. Or the enemy could be generating a NAN (garbage value) which just screws up anything it touches if it's calculated against Link's data. If I'm correct, the closer you get to 0,0,0 the less "cursed" things would be.
I'm replying to myself in case anyone is interested in why what I'm suggesting above doesn't happen if you knock an enemy off a cliff. The difference is that the game doesn't really know that the Stalnox is at the wrong position. In fact, the reason Kleric can still shoot the enemy means that some part of it is still at the waterfall. Complex entities have multiple parts that can be separated like how joint based collision vanishes after a ragdoll settles to rest, or how you can pull out and put away weapon models (which consequently allows duping bugs). In this instance the hitbox collision or some part of the enemy is still close but the model and (probably) skeleton is what is warped away to nothingness until you force it back by interacting with it. I'm guessing here that Link's lookat target for enemies is probably a joint in the model's skeleton. That's how I've done it on many games so that's why the Stalnox is there to shoot but Link is staring miles away at it's art asset parts. When you properly dispatch an enemy (or find a new enemy, or go too far away), Link clears his enemy data, so he doesn't stare into the void. I'd suggest that this curse behavior can probably be replicated by pushing any single enemy out of bounds. If you have multiple enemies around, Link will probably calculate which is the closest or highest in priority and will look at that instead.
HOW TO REASSEMBLE ONE'S SPINE: If your spine is broken you can simply whistle and your spine will obediently put itself back together again! Good spine. Lmao botw is awesome.
Cool glitch: Use Urbosa's Fury on a Guardian and use Stasis+ on it immediately. Once Stasis wears off, it will become passive. It won't move and won't try to attack you. To make it aggressive again, shoot it in the eye or do any other action that stuns it (like using Urbosa's Fury again or cutting its legs/propellors off)
I just discovered this, but in the "Wind Guide" Shrine if u break a certain rock that opens an updraft and then void out during bullet time, it just placed me above the shrine, with no way in. It just happened and it was Hilarious. 😂😂😂
Can you use a box? I have no Amiibo but hope to get one Christmas. I traveled as far as fort Hateno to only find stone chests. I’ll try the box at the enemy camp I guess.
@Kleric I have something of a bounty for you, sir: Is there any way to keep an item from the Trial of the Sword? and, surprisingly related: Is there any way to obtain the Stal-monsters arm-weapons if you never began time? (thus never becoming night) I can't think of any other way to meet them besides the Trial, or it being Night. Perhaps there is some minigame that makes it temporarily night?
There's currently no known way to steal things from the Trial of the Sword, unfortunately. Though obtaining the stal arms when time can't move sounds like an interesting challenge. I'll keep that in mind and come back if I think of something~

Stalnox are powerful foes that remain buried until night comes during which they will resuscitate if an unsuspecting wanderer comes close and then attack.
You can get tons of rupees in a certain stable, someone there wants to trade royal guard weapons for gems but if you overload the inventory and desync it so you have the royal guard weapon equipped but are actually holding any other weapon, you can trade her the weapon without losing it. When you have it set up, you can just press the button over and over to get a ton of gems to sell.
