Currently have the G25 and love them. the G700 are stunning, to me they're GI Irons for people who wish they could play blades, they look amazing, can't wait to give them a swing
I'm a PING only player, and I love their stuff. These however look wrong and my gut feeling is they won't sell too well and the next generation irons will probably have a silicone inner like the Ferrari club maker PXG do.
I like the G700 for a lot of forgiveness but there’s no ball workability like hitting draws and fades. It’s pretty much distance, height, forgiveness. However I plan on getting much better in golf, therefore the P790 have my attention. They too have distance, height, (a little less forgiveness than the G700), but some forgiveness, and they have ball workability as they are a players iron. I think I’m leaning towards the P790 because like I said I plan on getting much better in the next few years.

Peter Twiby i hit them tonight !! I normally play bladed irons but these are amazing !! Come off like controlled rockets
I also hit G 25's. Unless you see a huge difference in distance and trajectory-I cannot see spending a huge amount of $$ on new irons.

Chris-The feed back has been otherwise. The signature PING sound and feel resonates through out these irons.
Sounds like a driver.
Razzledazzle Csi is better
P790 anyone? A bit late to game.
P790 is a player's distance iron with a much shorter blade length.
