I need the 4 hour cut of this interview.
Great interview. He seems so humble despite having so many memorable runs!
Waid's Fantastic Four #60 was the first comic I ever bought
I'm so glad I found this interview. I really enjoyed it and am linking it to several FB groups. You have yourself a new subscriber
Awesome interview! I’ve heard Waid before but for some reason this one just seemed to be the most interesting. A phenomenal comics creator!
Thanks! We'll have more.
Waid has had so many great runs. Good to hear his take.
I liked his Flash work. He captured the character and he always had plot twists that kept the reader guessing.
John Broome was THE Flash writer, but Waid is certainly number two.
I liked his work on the FF and Cap, as well. I liked his fill-ins on JLA during Morrisson's run.
It's criminal that a 50 issues Waid superman run doesn't exist.
Well, as he said "sometime between now and the end of time..."
@@TheComicsCube I will admit that I am happy for this message.
Superman is a wonderful character that so many people misunderstand.
Snyder, especially.
@@AlexDragonfire96 I wasn't going to say it, but yes.
To be honest, I have never directly seen this take, but a lot of fans seem to misunderstand Superman too.
Paul Ryan (and Barry Kitson) were great draftsmen in addition to being story tellers.
Best Flash writer ever. Flash #0 is one of my favorite comics of all-time.
52 parallel worlds was better than no parallel worlds, but I like even more than that.
Recently read a bit of Waid's Captain America run and enjoyed it. Really want to jump into his Daredevil run though - love Samnee and Rivera.
Don't miss that we also have an episode with Rivera! ua-cam.com/video/gYUNJ638Nro/v-deo.html
@@TheComicsCube Yeah, loved it! His work on The Valiant was dope - wish he had done more with that publisher around that time when they were on fire.
I love the waid flash run! It deserves an Omnibus edition. I love Geoff Johns and his flash is great , but it's not waids .
Superman makes sense because of the fact that the stories establish that he had good parents, who gave him love and guilt . . . .
How do you arrange an interview with Mark Waid
Waid is the biggest disappointment. His first Cap run was amazing. His last cap run killed my love for comics. I never bought another comic again. He made the choice to use Captain America as his own personal bullhorn and that can never be forgiven.
