Thank u for this detailed info. I am a born Sindhi, my family migrated during Partition, and i know how much pain they went thru. Most Sindhis thought that things will settle down and they wud go back. But that never happened, and nany Sindhis, like my mother died, pining away for Sindh.
She used to say 'asanjo vatan rehji vyo' meaning we have lost our motherland . . . One more thing, the 'ani' part in Sindhi names means 'ansh' in Sankrit. Our surname is usually a grandfather or ancestors name followed by ani, to show our descent.

@@braveheart8318 I agree besides aftermath of partition was horrible for those who survived. But the Hindu minority in Pakistan has diminished and Muslims population in India has increased. I know how much loss Pakistan has faced by exodus of businessman Hindus. The two communities can’t be at peace unless Islamist do away with the idea of non acceptance of non believers and open to the idea that god can be worshipped by any name or method. Religion should be a personal experience and forced conversion must be abolished.and the message all human beings are equal must echo everywhere. Women must be treated with respect and should do whatever they choose to. This is not easy for Islamist. All messages, religious books and places of worship are holy. Everyone should be allowed to question and think scientifically.

In my opinion actually Hinduism started from an area e.g. Peshawar, Multan, Bahawalpur, Pakistani Panjab & Sindh. Actually Multan is MOOLSTHAN (मूलस्थान) Hinduism. There is a misunderstanding about Sindhi in India because Sindhi is not a caste. It's an ethnicity, so there are thousands of tribes in Sindhis, and all Sindhis are not in the business. In fact, Muslim Sindhis are 80% of agriculture
the Sindhis living in India belong to the business community but only 35% of Sindhis belong to the business community, not others
For example, in India, there are some communities good in business that doesn't means that all Indians are businessmen same as Sindhis. There are many types of castes and tribes in Sindhis each tribe has its own history

Hindu Sindhi live in India and are peaceful businessman mostly.
They were very Rich but due to partition of India..they suffered lot.
Sindhi is just language..there are many community in Sindhis. They are mostly known by places where there forefathers used to live. For example shikarpuri were from shikar pur city. They mostly don't believe in upper caste,lower caste etc.

Would like to add few more,.that majority of remaining Sindhis in Pakistan is now converted, very few percentage Hindu Sindhis are there, most of the Hindu Sindhi (we proudly says Real Indians) came to India leaving behind wealth, farm lands, business etc. etc., Also would like to share that Raja Dhahir was Sindhi King who fought and stopped entry of Mughal Invaders. It's well said without Sind, Hind is not complete so we hope day will come when Sindh again will be part of Hind. Jai Hind, Jai Bharat🫡🇮🇳

So what country did the Sindis come from? Sind was still part of India when most of the Sindhis left. By saying "They came to India" is like saying they came from another country, You cannot say they came from another country when they migrated while Sind was part of India.
Please mention they migrated to present India from undivided India. Hindu Sindhis were already living in India, and just one day their non-hindu neighbours realised that they would not be happy under and Hindu-majority country and demanded a separate nation for them, thus forcing hindu sindhis to flee.

Sindhi language does not have a separate script. Most of the writing I believe was in Persian script because of the very great influence the Persians had over Sindhis due to maritime proximity. The Sufi culture is also an offshoot of this proximity to Iran (Persia)
I'm Sindhi from Sindh pakistan. A uniform sindhi alphabet introduced By Britishers during their rule in Sindh in Arabic script .sindhi alphabet has 52 letters more than Arabic, Persian and urdu. Before Britishers,three different alphabets used for writing Sindhi language, Arabic by Muslims,Hindus devanagari, Muslim Ismaili shias a different their own invented khawajki alphabet.
In sindh Sindhis and Hindus live peacefully having cordial relations

thak you for this video which has given the history of the sindhi people over the centuries ,and their status after the partition both in india and pakistan ,basically a location oriented people ,basically landholders and businessmen later ,had their unique culture trampled and influenced by invaders ,over centuries ,and mostly forced to convert by the muslim invaders and after partition of india majority office the landed sindhis did not migrate to india ,and over the last 70yrs have been converted to islam by force and have last their identity as hindus or sikha ,and the poorer sindhi have been suffering in pakistan as minorities ,only a few of them who migrated to india ,have made a mark in different fields in india by their entrepreneurial skill and hard work ,hats of to them ,but they had become the result of the british divide and rule ,when the british took over the sindh province illegally and handed over their territory to pakistan at the time of partition ,and put an end to their sikh and hindu identity ,but hats off to those who migrated and made their lives in a free country ,and practice their religion and culture ,
