This is epic! Muffin Man was so viral last year that Adam ended up singing Believe in several concerts and in the middle of the song he'd throw in a verse of Muffin Man because people were demanding that he sing it. He was such a good sport about it. 😄

The way Adam captures Cher’s essence in the Muffin Man is uncanny.
I love how every face in the audience that the camera turns to is completely mesmerized or wrapped up in this performance. Lambert has a angel voice, huge range, beautiful falsetto with seamless transition between registers. Excellent interpretation and stage presence. Bravo, Adam!

This was phenominal. A totally different song than Cher's original version which was more disco-esque, had an upbeat, hard driving dance rhythm. Adam sang a similar version of this when he was on American Idol . Adam has such control over his voice. He tells stories with his voice.
Adam sings of the heartbreak of a new loss. Cher sings as a person in recovery.

I believe I can say I'm a Glambert. This video is what got me started down the Adam Lambert rabbit hole. It's a game show called That's My Jam that Jimmy Fallon does. Adam was a judge on the show Starstruck.

He sang Believe on Idol where he slowed it down.
If you watch again from the beginning, every time Adam looks up to his left he is watching Cher. He made her cry at her own song. She jumped up for a standing ovation.
Unfortunately they did not meet that night because of a flight and neither had time.
Cher hates to hear herself sing, but Adam's rendition makes people slow down act actually hear and comprehend the words.
The one on the ship is If I Could Turn Back Time. That was the 80's. 😉

it came full circle for adam. He sang this ballad version of Believe on American Idol (during Hollywood Week) and now he's singing in front of Cher. He also auditioned on American Idol singing Bohemian Rhapsody -- years later, he's performing/touring with Queen.

He has this bit on his show but then made a side series called That’s my jam as fund raisers. I love that Adam’s voice is so good he can mimic Cher’s autotune 😂😂. The muffin man bit was from a show that Jimmy Fallon (not Kimmel) 😉😉😉 has on television called "That's My Jam". The show actually was quite fun with some great musical guests as contestants. My favorite episode was when he had The Voice coaches as the celebrity contestants. (Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Arianna Grande) Haven't seen any new episodes for awhile now but it was good fun. Great as always guys and Madison G, another great request. I think I’ll stick to Cher’s reaction during and after (with comments she made) as well as my own reaction, obviously. My reaction is not to “grade”, but, of course, it’s not my channel. I don’t know if you read comments, but you can have lots of fun watching Adam perform a “Believe” medley at Wembley last summer. It’s a whole lot of fun. Thanks for your time!

Just shows how a song can be altered by timing. Cher used auto tune on parts of the song and it was ok. Now it’s obnoxious when hearing misplaced auto tuned singers. I loved this interpretation because I actually understand what is being conveyed.
I would love to see these two react to Adam’s “Marry the Night” from Glee. They would have a lot of fun with that one.

I don't think they could take the performance! I loved it! I've been to 3 of his concerts and 2 of him with Queen. Most amazing singer ever!!!
Jimmy FALLON turned the musical games he does on his show into a Prime Time show called That's My Jam! It's had two seasons so far. Each week he has 4 celebs compete in two teams. Adam was on during the 2nd season. To be fair, Jimmy Fallon does look like Jimmy Kimmel with that beard LOL.
