Then I got older and realized that I don't need to buy every single trinket I see and now I just spend $500 or less just on stuff I REALLY want and then another $500 on food and hotel more on the food cause my other buddy loves eating at the really fancy authentic Japanese restaurant in the area that cost like $70 minimum on a small serving 3 course meal doesn't fill us up but it's for the experience which I keep telling him it's bs since there's literally a fastfood burger place right beside it but whatever it was somewhat a once a year tradition in our group. There was one year though where I legit didn't find anything and my total spending outside of food was just $20 lol. Didn't even have a hotel cause my buddy decided to drive going there and back for 3 days and I just carpooled with him. Never asked me for gas money too since it was pretty much the boys outing.

So many fans it's crazy. - so many people there oof.... They need a bigger venue or something. i lost my breath just watching. - seeing our Holo girls up there, on big billboards and cutouts makes me extra happy and proud - i sometimes sigh when I'm aware that here in NL, anime isn't much of a thing. It went from being cringe when i was a teen, to being briefly cool, to being cringe again since it's so standard (?). And at the same time you have people who are still in the first phase lol. But seeing these impressions make me happy.
