Thank you, that was very detailed ! I don't know if you have a video about how to use Etsy ads data and how to get the most out of it

Thank you for your time in teaching us how to make the best out of our shops! I do have a question, should we do our research for every listing or is there a timeline?

Hi, ideally for every listing BUT I’d always take the results with a grain of salt. Sometimes the fact that a listing has low search volume just means that there hasn’t been many created. If you believe in your product and think that it’s right for your target audience I’d definitely still create it. I prefer to have a product mix: some products that the research shows me that are worth creating and others that I personally believe in:)

My problem is that I feel uncomfortable making products in areas I don't know much about. For example here the invoices, I don't know the legal aspect of it so I'm not sure about creating a product just from looking at what others are doing.
Yes I could go and do a deep research to feel comfortable selling it, but doing so much deep research everytime on each product is too much 😖 Another example is adhd planners, many people just add the keyword adhd and it works, adhd customers are happy, but I would feel uncomfortable selling it unless I became a pro at everything adhd related 😅😅

Hi, you really don't need to make products you don't feel comfortable making ;) For me the invoices part is easy because I am a freelancer and have been sending them for the past 6 years. But if I've never sent one before, I could definitely feel uncomfortable. Before I started making digital planner, I got my first iPad and apple pencil. It cost a fortune tbh but I wanted to KNOW what it feels like to use a digital planner. And I also hoped that I will enjoy using one myself.

As for deep research for every product, I think it's better NOT to do it for EVERY product. It's good to do it for some products but always have some other products that you just test out. Honestly, some of my bestselling products were not researched. I just saw small shops having bestseller products and decided to test them out. The competition was super low at the time and that definitely helped. Because they were small shops and the products were relatively new, I was able to rank much faster. Last but not least, there's NOT ONE way to do this. So whatever works for you and motivates you to keep going and keep creating products, it's the best way to move forward. Because at the end of the day it's always gonna be better to have more published products :) BEST of luck in your business! ❤
