Beautiful result as usual Bruce and lots of useful tips and information. I would never have thought of using swarfega like that. Thanks for the upload and of course thanks to Toffee for the QC inspection. Always a pleasure to see.
You could build one by laminating wood steamed with an iron over a form …or you could search for a second hand one on eBay eg “singer treadle belly pan” “vintage singer dust pan” and variations on that. Making one would be fun and careful choice of veneers, however you’d need a template to work off eg if a friend had a complete unit or you could borrow one? Good luck!
@@TheCottackWorkshop I have seen some on the internet but it's a gamble with the possibility of damage during shipping . I have no been able to find templates , instructions or measurements yet. Can't believe how difficult it have been the search. In fact no videos on UA-cam on how to build just repair . I may need to get creative. No that I have a clue but ready to tackle this challenge. Thanks
@@TheCottackWorkshop what the curve wood name to be steamed? Going to the big box store without clear project material information drive the staff crazy. I can seeing on their faces😅.

Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. Toffee has been enjoying the summer outside the workshop but made an appearance for this one
Another beautiful work! With Toffee's quality control 😅😅😅
Thank you very much!
Looks great, thanks very much.
Thank you Sheena - much appreciated
I agree with the part of just a bit of TLC instead of a full strip down/sand and restore.
Turned out great.
Thanks for sharing it.
Thanks André!
How can I build a dust under cover for a treadle machine?
