There are 9 in total - the central one, and 8 by their geographic position - Northen, North-eastern, Eastern, South-eastern etc. There are also several enclaves in suburban area which are administratively considered as Moscow territory, and huge suburban area on South-west which was included into Moscow territory about 10 years ago(for which purpose we common people still have almost no ideas)
