Glad you survived the move. I cannot image doing that alone- I give you credit. That was super nice of Daisy Jo Design …. The keeper are very nice!!! Good Luck with your residency!!!
Every time I watch one of your videos, it brings me back to our Florida trip and the Gulf of Mexico. I loved it. My husband actually said, “Is this all there is? It’s just water!” He lasted about 5 minutes, but I managed to into the water briefly. It was like bath water. This Upstate New York stitcher, daughter of a Navy Dad, was used to the cold water of Lake Ontario. The gulf water was pure bliss. Best wishes to you with your residency, your new home and I hope your dog’s kennel cough is already gone.
What a beautiful look at your stitching projects! I love the gnome coming to life no matter the speed. I hope you are excited to use your Daisy project folder and wish you well on all that life gives you even if the journey is twisted and unexpected!
I was happy to see your back and congratulations on graduating and all your adventures! The daisy portfolio is beautiful! Reading under a tress is very relaxing.
Great video! So happy you are moved and settling in to your new life! Who does not like a daisy? I love to sit under a tree and watch the gulf! Much happiness in your new job! Congratulations to David!
Love all your projects. I also love the Daisy Portfolio. It is so beautiful. I love to read under a Tree because it is so relaxing. So sorry for the loss of your parents dog. Congratulations on graduating Medical School. I am sure you and your husband will enjoy your time together in the month of June. Happy Stitching.
Congrats on graduating, now for a lil freedom! Such a big accomplishment before summer 👏🏽 That was super sweet of Daisy Jo for the happy mail 🥰 Hope the move went smooth & you have lots of trees around you. Great progress on your WIPS & new starts. Wow the Parisian gulf is a pretty color 😍
Your videos are like a daisy… Bright and cheerful! My granddaughter would love it if I were to stitch her the tree pattern… She is seven and never without a book in her hand!

Congratulations to you and David on your accomplishments! I'm sorry that you're both experiencing such a large change to your plans, but I'm glad you are able to find a workaround. I wish you both the best!
I am so happy for you starting this next chapter in your career! I am glad that the move is behind you, and that you have had a needed break from school, and had a good amount of time to stitch! Congratulations to David on completing his dive school training! I am so sorry that he won’t be able to move with you, as I am sure that you miss him terribly! I am glad he will be able to come “home” on the weekends, and I know that you will miss the pups too! You are both making sacrifices now, that will pay off in the future for you both. Happy 3rd Anniversary to you both! Best wishes as you begin your residency.
Sounds like a very eventful few months! It was very nice that you were gifted the Daisy project keeper. I think you and your hubbie need to take a trip to the gulf to relax. It would be nice to see a palm tree or two and have some freedom from all the chaos.
Daisy flowers give us freedom to pick flowers. Gulf. Having been a military wife my best advice is enjoy where you end up and make a wonderful life. Love your stitching
I loved hearing your updates in stitching and in life. You have a positive attitude and will adjust to this latest change. That is so amazing that David successfully completed dive school! Best wishes to you as you start your residency--if there are some experienced nurses around, they will help you as long as you ask questions. Daisy, tree
I have a new African Daisy planted in my flower bed! (Really, I have 2 planted 😊) So fun catching up. Good luck with everything in June! Enjoy the month with David. I can't imagine how stressful that will be this next year.
Happy to see you back!! I emailed you in separate emails a couple of links for Navy charms and hope you find a couple you like so you can finish your FFN pattern. Love the Acorn portfolio, so wonderful of Daisy Jo to share. Summer, tree, freedom, golf... thank you
A daisy is one of my favorite flowers. Good luck on your next venture, and enjoy Williamsburg. I’m a fellow Virginian. Live close by and daughter also lives in Williamsburg
Congrats on graduating medical school and now a big step starting residency. Congrats to David on Dive School. One day at at time and things with David will work out. Daisy and Summer
Oh, honey. As usual, your stitching is beautiful. I'm so proud of you. I'm sorry your plans aren't going the way you wanted. The saying, "we make plans and God laughs" is sure true. Know that you are often in my thoughts and prayers for this next stage of adventure.
I recently came across your channel, I had to watch since you had Georgia as part of your channel name. I’m from Georgia! I love your channel I admire the amount of stitching you do. Daisy!
Congrats to both of you. Daisy is a pretty flower. I went to your instagram and left message about an order. A tree is great to read under. I am excited for.both of you. Gulf is a pretty color.
Your stitching looks great! Good luck with your residency. The Daisy portfolio bags are wonderful. The pattern with the girl reading under a tree is so cool. The Persian Gulf floss is so pretty. I'm sorry to hear that David won't be as close.
So glad to have you back! What a huge congratulations to both David and you on graduations! So special and thank you both for your service and sacrifice to our country!! On my way right now to see Daisy Tree Design offerings to see what I can get up to this summer with a little bit of freedom while visiting Wyoming and Montana instead of the Gulf shores of Florida, maybe stitching under a tree. Have a great June!!!! ---Meghan
Good to see you again. Hope you enjoy your time off with your sweetie in June. You two can sit under a tree and pull petals off a daisy. The Persian Gulf silk is beautiful.
Love all of your WIPS and Finishes. Very Beautiful. Sorry to hear about your Dad’s Dog passing away. It’s so hard to lose a Pet. I love Williamsburg and Richmond - Two Beautiful Places. Take Care & Happy Stitching ❤️🤗🙏🧵🪡🧵✂️❤️
Congrats and good luck on your residency. Loved seeing all your wips. I love your gorgeous portfolio. I’m looking forward to a lazy daisy summer stitching under the shade of my favorite tree by the gulf. Please thank your husband for his service, I really appreciate the freedom he protects.
Congratulations and good luck with all your life change events! I hope you have a wonderful short break before residency starts. I'm sorry David's orders changed...hopefully it doesnt last too long like you mentioned. Enjoyed seeing your stitchy pieces too! Gulf
Congratulations and best wishes on your residency and David's success also. You have been a very busy girl. Freedom Prayers for you and David during this time.....
Congratulations to both of you! I wanted to send a word of encouragement my husband retires the end of the year with 30 years in the US Navy. He’s been stationed away from us twice for a total of 6 years. The other stations we were able to move as a family. His career included 6 carrier tours both east and west coast. You are right expect the unexpected as a military spouse. Love the daisy project folder so pretty. My daughter is now in her last year of residency, it passes quickly. Your wips are beautiful and I hope you find some tiny bits of time to get some stitching in this summer. Happy Stitching!
I was able to visit Williamsburg in 2022, but it wasn’t during daisy season. I’m jealous they now have a needlework shop in town. It will certainly be quiet without the dogs during the week. Congrats on your graduation!
Wow I can't believe how much has gone on in your life in the last 6 weeks. Congrats on graduating med school and best of luck with your residency. P.S. Love the Persian Gulf silk thread.
I absolutely love your pineapple cross stitch - will truly want to stitch it! Living on the Gulf Coast, all we really will be wearing for the next 5 months will be flip flops 🥰
If I ever get around to stitching the winter gnomes I may also do them on raw linen. Yours is looking fabulous. Hope you enjoy your residency. All the best
Congrats to you both on graduating! And I'm so sorry David's orders changed, yet again... huge hugs. ~ I'd luv to be sitting under a tree this summer near the gulf.
Oh my those are some awesome projects from Daisy jo stitching. Their freedom chart would be awesome for patriotic stitching. Does David golf. Lord you have had some major changes and have just rolled with them. Bless you. Hope you get some stitching done while you can.
Megan - So glad you're moved in and able to fit a video in. I really love a daisy and a tree. Williamsburg is beautiful and Mount Vernon is a must visit site. I enjoyed this video and will be watching some if not all of your previous videos. Congratulations 🎉🎉 on your 4 year flosstubiversary . Life with a military person is always interesting. 🥴 Patricia
Congrats on graduating and beginning your residency! I also work in a different city than my family and pets- it can be tough, but we make it work and cross stitch helps a lot! Hang in there! Daisy.
Congratulations on your graduation! Forever in Peace is very pretty and I really like the intricacies of the bands and the colors you chose. Seasons in Lace Winter is looking beautiful. I am working on Jan Hicks Creates "Love is Love." But seeing your Winter piece is tempting. You have influenced me before - I am doing Carolyn Manning's Beachcomber because I liked yours so much.
Just a thought regarding looking for charms… When my son was stationed in Norfolk, he took us to the NEX and I brought my niece (age 10) a really inexpensive charm bracelet with navy charms. I think the bracelet was under $10 and it had some cute charms. It’s worth a shot if you’re ever over that way!
It was great speaking with you last week at Liberty Hill! It sounds like you have a jam packed few weeks coming up. Hope you have a great time! I think that Susan at Liberty Hill has some cases of charms and perhaps they would work for your Hinzeit chart.
Wow, I am exhausted just listening what you have been doing since your last flosstube! So sorry that David’s orders changed. Hopefully, it will be a year assignment. Take care, get some rest, and enjoy your time off.
So many changes! I’ll pray that you and David can stay connected as you navigate this challenging season. Hopefully it goes by quickly and brings some unexpected blessings as well! 🥰 That gulf floss is gorgeous! 🩵💙
Hi neighbor! I live in Chesapeake. I’m so happy I have discovered you. You do beautiful stitching. I hope God blesses you and David mighty. I love the Daisy portfolio. It’s so lovely.
As always, it is so great to hear from you. Thank you for sharing all your progress, both stitching and life related. The same thing happened to me with a hinzlet pattern that I purchased from an LNS. It was a michigan chart I got while on vacation, and the lighthouse charm that it came with was completely different than the picture. I am very sorry that it happened to you as well. But I must say thank you for sharing that experience. As unfortunate as it is, it is nice that you shared this news. And I truly hope this won't happen to anyone else.
Glad you and your husband will have some time together. You have been super busy but glad you had some stitching time. I started Forever In Peace last year and pulled it out for Memorial Day weekend. I finished the blue section too and I am currently working on it as I watch your Flosstube. The called for colors do not match the picture. I'm using all the called for DMC and its sort of rustic tones. I wish I would have thought about changing colors when I started it last year. The picture colors are so vibrant. Maybe it was sort of a rustic vibe when designed. Glad you changed the colors. It will look great.
So happy to see you’re back! My favorite flower is a daisy, they just make me smile! Memorial Day was a beautiful day to go to the cemetery, stand in the shade of the trees and thinking of our freedom as I looked at all the flags. Congratulations on all your accomplishments!!!
