I don't see how or why people did not understand how much jason loved his job....for any individual who gets their dream job, they are proud....they are dedicated because they are doing something that they love and are good at....he started as a runner and due to Lily's death he graduated to something more.....he was fantastic at his job, he loved it and was damn good at it.....why shouldn't he be proud?
The problem is that what he chose makes him happy....not everyone else.....and the risks are his to take.....and that's what everyone else don't understand.....what he gained after his accident is what made him such a great enforcer.....and this is what people failed to understand....he did what made him happy and the least these hypocrites could of done was to RESPECT his decisions.....and using love and living a long life was no excuse because death was inevitable.....so why did these people think that forcing him to do what they wanted was the right thing to do?
Robin and Jason characters has always told each other the truth, never controlled each other. That is what you do when you love someone you tell them the truth, if this is control then more couples need it. Sam, Carly and Liz characters are exactly alike women that see Jason as someone to save them, take care of them and give to them. If you can't tell your suppose to be soulmate, friend and lover the truth that is not true love. As soon as Jason start telling these 3 women "NO" everyone will see their true characters. That is how their storylines are written. Robin character has and always will be there for Jason even when he treat her awful she protect and take care of him. Jason didn't choose Sam over Robin he wanted Robin to have a better life and not be a part of the mob. Jason is with Sam because she doesn't care what he does. If Jason ever leave the mob his first stop will be Robin the love of his life. Even if GH bad writers don't acknowledge Jason and Robin chemistry and love it's still there.
Lmao Sam has saved jason too. And robin did try to control Jason. And she spitefully told a.j. the truth about Michael. No. Robin, Courtney, and liz all tried to manipulate Jason when it came to love. Remember it was sam who called robin to come home and help Jason. And...... Jason has chose Sam over all these other women.
Man I love how Robin makes Jason take a reality check, but he was a damn fool. In the end he didn’t deserve her love cuz she was better than him in the long run
Let's put a couple of things in perspective. First, Robin knew that Jason liked to take risks. Second, that he didn't like anyone to tell him what to do. And third, that Jason didn't like anyone making decisions for him. So, the simple fact that Robin was constantly on a mission to try to dictate Jason's conduct or behavior according to her own standards we all can agree that eventually was going to create a lot of problems for them, especially because that is not loving someone unconditionally for who they are and what they do. Also, it is not loving someone without any judgements. In the scene above, we got to witness how Jason and Robin began to drift and grow a part. It was simple what was happening, Jason loved his lifestyle because he chose it and Robin couldn't handled it. For Robin, what Jason was doing was too dangerous and for Jason what he was doing made him feel competent. In other words, Jason's job it was more than that for him, it was something that allowed him to find himself and to become the person he wanted to be in his own terms. But what Robin was doing was emasculating for Jason and totally unacceptable, especially because he didn't interfere with her dreams of becoming a doctor. He was supportive. Jason expected the same from Robin. At a minimum, Jason expected her to understand why working for Sonny was more than a job for him. It was made him alive and up to a certain point defined him. He expected her to love him, to understand him and to accept him without any judgements the same way he did with her unconditionally, HIV and all. But she couldn't. Robin fell short. This whole situation was a long time coming because they both were hiding their true feelings and were not living in truth. They were pretending to be perfectly fine with the status quo when they weren't. More so, Robin. She knew what working for Sonny entailed and what it meant. She also knew that Jason liked to take risks because he is a "danger junkie". So, it made no sense for her to ask him to change the essence of who he is to accommodate her, especially when all the time that they have been together that's exactly what he has been doing. This argument and the fact that eventually they were not going to work out was inevitable. Jason and Robin, although they loved each other very much, were never meant to last an objective analysis of the evidence showed us as much. Blessed be!!!

There’s a saying: those who live by the gun, dies by the gun. So basically eventually Jason will be taken out and sonny too with a younger generation of mobsters wanting to make a name for themselves to take em’ out. I felt like Robin was wasting her time talking to Jason who was bent on loving his mob life more than having a life with Robin out of the mob, I like how Mac had a one on one talk with Jason to clear the air on being a protective uncle.
I don't like Mac talking down to Jason like that. Because Robert and Anna knows the risks like Jason and Sonny does. But nothing they do changes them because it doesn't have to. Because it's like what you said. You live by the gun, you die by the gun. Because that's better than nothing.
@J Yeah it is. Because getting shot doesn't hurt that much when you can prevent blood loss and getting the bullet out. Because most people survive it and not dying from it. Because if you die then it means nothing because you wouldn't be among the living anymore and that's why.
I love Robin for teaching Jason a lot of stuff that he forgot because of his injury. But I’m glad they relationship did not work because she tried to control him a little too much trying make him into who she wanted him to be and I hated that about her.... SAM is his true love....
Nikki Fowler... Robin and Jason were perfect first/second lovers. I’m happy Robin found Patrick. Sam is Jason’s true love but he doesn’t deserve her. He deserves lying manipulative Liz. It truly was a joy watching him suffer with her.
Nikki Fowler……that’s a fact……Robin wanted what she wanted……she wanted Jason how she wanted him……to be what she thought he should be……she didn’t respect his choices…….she forced him to be nice to the Q’s when he didn’t want or even need to……..no one respected more than Sonny.
I did not like this episode because they cared, loved each other so much and more but the business got in the way of them and more.Jason was scared of losing robin and he was right about it they broke up over this and more it was sad that the writers did not let them be happy and be together liked they wanted to be
OMG THESE TWO ALWAYS J&R

Robin controlled Jason and he knew it....she wanted things done her way and when she couldn't get it what did she do?....she ran away.
Carly also saved Jason. Mostly SJB and LW versions.
