I have about zero clue about iems I do really like the design of the Kadenz tho, would they be good for gaming or should I look for a different model for that purpose ?
It's not that Kadenz is lean or bright, it's the dac/amp that is too bright. I have Moondrop Aria Snow Edition which is said to be bright or lean compared to Aria, but when you pair Snow Edition with AKM source (I have Colorfly CDA M1P), it sounds natural, organic, and definitely not lean or bright. Planning to buy Kadenz as an upgrade to Aria Snow Edition.
Without any Dac/Amp The Kadenz is actually really Airy, on the cooler and bright side/Neutral(not too bright just perfect). So for me it is the best IEM under $200 as it is $170 right now it is a perfect buy.
Single DD over 100$ *yawn*. Reddit/Head-Fi territory lunacy. They're pretty tho i'll give them that. Maybe not Blue KATO/7hz Eternal pretty but still, very clean and minimalistic. For those who still have their Linsoul 50$ off code, they could be a nobrainer at 111$ for the overall package. Thanks for the 'ahnest no sugercoat coverage.

They're fine for gaming, especially footsteps but not so much for deep rumbling explosions.
