Absolutely! The lure is great for kids AND for the parents. Some times you just need that break ;) but as long as we are aware, it's much better than being completely oblivious to its effects! :D
@@DaddyDirective, for real! It can be counterintuitive if we’re not careful. We want them to be functioning, thinking humans then we put them in front of a screen which suppresses that.
so true. but I am concerned that if I prevent too much as they grow up, it will hinder their ability to be familiar with the technology. It's all about balance at the end and THAT is what's hard lol
@@DaddyDirective, it is! Not that I’m advocating it, but since we’ve let our oldest play Nintendo ( a little bit at a time) his hand-writing has improved which we attributed to the hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills. May not be, just seemed coincidental.
@@onedadsperspective1506 yup that definitely has an effect I think. Besides I always told my wife when I play video game, it is to stimulate and improve my hand eye coordination lol

Yeah, ..... our kids love the TV. They’re little addicts! lol It is important to guard our kids from too much screen time. Totally agree, man!
