Hey Brian! I would love to get a specific chapter list for your interleaved reading (or do you just wing it?!) That sounds like such a fun way to do it! P.S. Badass sword!
Definitely agree about the structure. Alternating chapters definitely would have been better. Still enjoyed the story though, especially all the ent stuff.
I have not read this series nor have I ever seen the films. I always said I wanted to wait until I'd read the books before watching the films and still haven't gotten around to it. I did recently pickup the trilogy however and do have plans to read it if not Sept. then likely Nov. this year. A lot of Sept and Oct will be horror for me, same as always lol.
Help! I, for some reason, can’t decide if I should read these books and yet I KNOW I should....and I want to, but I keep putting it off. The movies were so perfect and I can’t imagine the books being as good or better. I’ve also heard many say that the movies are just so good that reading the source material is kind of a letdown and yet way more say that these books are their greatest treasure. Can you make a pitch to me as to why I should read the books when I loved the movies so much? I’m stuck.
@@nikkivenable3700 They're both different but great in their own way! I think it's up to you really, if you're worried about them tarnishing your experience of the film then maybe don't risk it. But I'd say that they can coexist :)
Happy reading! Because of you, I just got The Neon Rain by James Lee Burke. I love mysteries with a Detective, Sheriff, etc. 🤠👍
Great! Hope u like it
Always like ur book collection!! Happy reading to you!! 📖🍁
Every time you say Severe County I get goosebumps.
Love The Lord of the Rings, can’t fault any of them.
An aside: I just finished The Forgetting Moon a few days ago, it was really good!
Thanks so much!!
@@B.LEE.DbrianleedurfeeREVIEWS No, thank you! I’ll be recording a review soon. 😃

Never read them but have a hardcover set of the trilogy on my TBR shelf.
Those who criticize Tolkien's prose should stick to their typical diet of YA published after, oh I don't know, 2010 or so
Tolkien is the author who introduced me to epic fantasy
Big fan brotha. Was wondering if there was anywhere to purchase some signed copies of your books? Would love to add them to my collection.
Friend me on Facebook then messege me
This one was always my least favourite, although it's still Tolkien and so it's still great :D
