I was a huge fan of Elvis even in the late 1950’s and 1960’s as a child growing up not far from Mt. Everest in Nepal. We had no paved roads, no running water, telephone, or electricity, but used to listen with bated breath to his hits like Heartbreak Hotel and It’s Now or Never on a hand-cranked gramophone. In my 70’s today, I still have many of Elvis’s iconic songs on my iPhone 14. The World loves Elvis and mourns deeply for his only daughter Lisa Marie Presley. Rest in Peace.

I absolutely loved Lisa Marie; she was one of the few people in the limelight that could tell you any f..up situation she went through so candidly and real without you ever having a bad thought or feeling about her because she was that real and giving and sincere. There was no lying in her. She was truly a loving person and when she said she had seen it all I believe it. Losing a person of so much honesty and integrity is hard very hard. I remember interviews with Elvis too where he was very forthcoming even when you could tell in certain situations maybe his manager coaxed him to lie about something he would do it in such a funny way that you knew he was putting you on. There was a certain charm she inherited from him.
The way she loved all of her children and when she told her son Benjamin to wait for me my love is the way every Mother should feel about her kids. I can’t believe this. As the biggest Michael Jackson fan, I was literally quoting Lisa Marie last week from her 2010 Oprah interview. She talked about how she had this “intoxication” during the highs of their relationship and how she had never felt that high in her life than being with him. She also talked about how Michael fell into the trap of opioids and how she wished she could’ve saved him. Here we are now and it appears she has passed away the same way living only 4 years longer than Michael. My heart is broken. I can’t believe this. 😢

Losing a child under such horrific circumstances is something that most parents never come to terms with. I think she tried to cope the best way she knew how. She had admitted struggling with addiction in the past. I think her body and soul were tired and she wasn't able to find the strength to go on. Very sad situation! RIP ❤
She was always so kind to people and so sweet. Never ever acted like she was better than anyone like so many snobbish “celebrities.” She actually acknowledged and spoke to people. Her mother is the same way. She complained of stomach pains prior to her passing that day. What happened? So sad. All the good people are dying. It’s so sad.

Watching all the clips, just reminded me how stunningly beautiful she was, gentle and sensitive on the inside. She lived life larger than life and lost big, she was the real deal like her dad. Priscilla has her work cut out yet again, God give that lady the strength to carry on.

Still in shock. I didn't hear about her condition until Friday morning. I was surprised, and k ew she was young, getting great care and would be alright. So sad. So sorry for the family and friends' loss. So devastating. RIP Lisa.
I think I am still in a kind of shock about Lisa Marie’s death. Like everyone else, I read about her being rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest. My first thought was “Wow, she’s so young”. But I assumed that she would recover and be ok. Later, my daughter sent me a link that said “Lisa Marie dead at the age of 54 years old”. I just stood there and thought it couldn’t possibly be true. She was so young. That made me start thinking about a possible underlying heart condition that could possibly be an inherited condition. I remembered that her grandmother, Elvis’s mom, died from a heart attack at the age of 46 years old. Elvis died at the age of 42 years old. And although he had a prescription drug addiction, his cause of death was cardiac arrest. I’m sure the addiction played a role in his death, but still. Maybe he would have died from cardiac arrest anyway, but maybe he would have lived a little longer. And now Lisa Marie has been taken with the same issue. I pray that her children will get some tests done, just to make sure. Obviously I don’t know what happened, but I keep thinking about something. (This is assuming that no tests were ran at his autopsy) What if Elvis’s death had been looked at more closely, not just assuming that the drugs were the only issue, and discovered that there was a heart condition, would Lisa Marie still be alive?
I had just seen her at the Golden Globes award so proud of Austin, then thought the news of her death was some sort of publicity stunt. I'm really thankful that she got to live through seeing him get an award after all their hard work putting together the movie about her dad. I, too, have always followed the family since mid-1960s, and I will forever think that both Priscilla and Lisa Marie are/were the most physically beautiful women I have ever seen. It’s good to always be honest with your kids. I was honest with mine, my drug, addictions, and how they affected me, so I finally gave it up for my children. I love my children. I love my grandkids and I love my great grandkids. Lisa Marie was a good mom.

Completely heartbroken. This is a tough loss. I know firsthand. It’s nearly impossible to bounce back once you are forced bury a child. Being a grieving parent also comes with a lot of guilt, especially when your child chooses to end their own life. These were demons that haunted Lisa Marie for the last two years. After everything that she has been through it was almost impossible for her to get through this. research has been done on grief. With that comment, you would think we are a new species, yet we are thousands of millenia old. We don't need to research grief. We gotta research love, and then apply it within our lives.
Research wouldn't help us or it didn't me. Actually I didn't want to read about grief or how to handle it. Everyone is different. Circumstances are different. There is just no set way anyone can tell you to handle things beyond the physical things like burial, finance, etc. You just live with it and its there, this person is gone and you just do what you can do.
Seek out Pastor Alan Nolan from crossroads ministry. He talks about grief being a spirit. He'll answer you. There's a Rick Warren also from Saddle Brook Ministry. They have videos. My mom lost my brother when he was only 19 to murder. They were very close. They shot him in his gut and it traveled through his body and out his neck. They sliced his face with a knife. How do you get over that? As time went on she buried my sister than another brother 4 years after that. Right? Luckily her faith in Jesus, seen her through. So now me and my sister visit one gravesite with a big Heart Monument.

I absolutely loved Lisa Marie; she was one of the few people in the limelight that could tell you any f..up situation she went through so candidly and real without you ever having a bad thought or feeling about her because she was that real and giving and sincere. There was no lying in her. She was truly a loving person and when she said she had seen it all I believe it. Losing a person of so much honesty and integrity is hard very hard. I remember interviews with Elvis too where he was very forthcoming even when you could tell in certain situations maybe his manager coaxed him to lie about something he would do it in such a funny way that you knew he was putting you on. There was a certain charm she inherited from him.
The way she loved all of her children and when she told her son Benjamin to wait for me my love is the way every Mother should feel about her kids. I know I feel that deep love with my 2 young children. She lived one hell of a life and is music Royalty. Rest in Love Lisa Marie Presley 💔 🙏 to her family

I can’t believe this. As the biggest Michael Jackson fan, I was literally quoting Lisa Marie last week from her 2010 Oprah interview. She talked about how she had this “intoxication” during the highs of their relationship and how she had never felt that high in her life than being with him. She also talked about how Michael fell into the trap of opioids and how she wished she could’ve saved him. Here we are now and it appears she has passed away the same way living only 4 years longer than Michael. My heart is broken.

Losing a child under such horrific circumstances is something that most parents never come to terms with. I think she tried to cope the best way she knew how. She had admitted struggling with addiction in the past. I think her body and soul were tired and she wasn't able to find the strength to go on. Very sad situation! RIP ❤
She was always so kind to people and so sweet. Never ever acted like she was better than anyone like so many snobbish “celebrities.” She actually acknowledged and spoke to people. Her mother is the same way. She complained of stomach pains prior to her passing that day. What happened? So sad. All the good people are dying. It’s so sad.

Of course her mom and daughters are effected the most…but I also think about the impact on Austin Butler. I can’t imagine the wide range of emotions he must be feeling.
I have not seen any comment from Austin on his Instagram I am sure he is the depth of grief right now as he talked about how they invited him into the family😢 this is all so sad 😞 she was only 54 but it goes to show you how powerful emotional strain can be and effect your life. I think I am still in a kind of shock about Lisa Marie’s death. Like everyone else, I read about her being rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest. My first thought was “Wow, she’s so young”. But I assumed that she would recover and be ok. Later, my daughter sent me a link that said “Lisa Marie dead at the age of 54 years old”. I just stood there and thought it couldn’t possibly be true. She was so young. That made me start thinking about a possible underlying heart condition that could possibly be an inherited condition. I remembered that her grandmother, Elvis’s mom, died from a heart attack at the age of 46 years old.
Elvis died at the age of 42 years old.
And although he had a prescription drug addiction, his cause of death was cardiac arrest. I’m sure the addiction played a role in his death, but still. Maybe he would have died from cardiac arrest anyway, but maybe he would have lived a little longer.
And now Lisa Marie has been taken with the same issue. I pray that her children will get some tests done, just to make sure.
Obviously I don’t know what happened, but I keep thinking about something.
(This is assuming that no tests were ran at his autopsy)
What if Elvis’s death had been looked at more closely, not just assuming that the drugs were the only issue, and discovered that there was a heart condition, would Lisa Marie still be alive?
I had just seen her at the Golden Globes award so proud of Austin, then thought the news of her death was some sort of publicity stunt. I'm really thankful that she got to live through seeing him get an award after all their hard work putting together the movie about her dad. I, too, have always followed the family since mid-1960s, and I will forever think that both Priscilla and Lisa Marie are/were the most physically beautiful women I have ever seen. Sending prayers for the family. RIP Lisa!

Completely heartbroken. This is a tough loss. I know firsthand. It’s nearly impossible to bounce back once you are forced bury a child. Being a grieving parent also comes with a lot of guilt, especially when your child chooses to end their own life. These were demons that haunted Lisa Marie for the last two years. After everything that she has been through it was almost impossible for her to get through this. Rest in peace Lisa Marie my prayers are with your darling beautiful daughters, my heart is with your mom. We need more research on GRIEF!
Amen, I know exactly where you are coming through. It changes you forever. Some people can move forward, I have because of my faith, but others crumble and cannot adjust to the void. Poor woman, she looked a tortured soul.
research has been done on grief. With that comment, you would think we are a new species, yet we are thousands of millenia old. We don't need to research grief. We gotta research love, and then apply it within our lives.
Research wouldn't help us or it didn't me. Actually I didn't want to read about grief or how to handle it. Everyone is different. Circumstances are different. There is just no set way anyone can tell you to handle things beyond the physical things like burial, finance, etc. You just live with it and its there, this person is gone and you just do what you can do.
Seek out Pastor Alan Nolan from crossroads ministry. He talks about grief being a spirit. He'll answer you. There's a Rick Warren also from Saddle Brook

My mom lost my brother when he was only 19 to murder. They were very close. They shot him in his gut and it traveled through his body and out his neck. They sliced his face with a knife. How do you get over that? As time went on she buried my sister than another brother 4 years after that. Right?
Luckily her faith in Jesus, seen her through. So now me and my sister visit one gravesite with a big Heart Monument.
