Silverstein in proof that consistency will carry you further than building a fanbase off of one album and then trying to change too much into something you're not.
Really? But I think they changed for the worse in this new album. I first listened to Silverstein when they released Rescue and then my favorite is This Is How the Wind Shifts. I am Alive in Everything I Touch and Dead Reflection are okay for me, just not as mind-blowing. But A Beautiful Place to Drown just doesn't leave a mark. Maybe I need some time for it to grow on me.
@@MadCeceWong This is by far the worst silverstein album. That's saying a lot for a band that has never released a bad album. I don't know how to explain it. It's just... not silverstein.
It's time for new generation, we all grow old, we go to gig less and have many thing distracted us from band. they just go back to their root and i get it
Intervals feature is fucking legendary. Aaron is one of my top guitar Inspirations and it's crazy to hear him with one of my favourite bands ever. Great track!
Literally every album in their line up is amazing. Every time a new album comes out I get scared if this will be the one where they slip. But they never let us down. Can’t wait to pick this up on amazon when it comes out.
Silverstein has, quite easily and profoundly, become one of my top three bands. I was there with "When Broken is Easily Fixed"...the fact that they can get my blood pumping to this day is a gift. It will be a sad day for music if these guys ever break up.
I wondered why the hell I wasn't getting any new Silverstein notifications, the damn bell was set to off!!! , Love how they have matured with the times and are still relevant! Amazing band!
Had discovering the waterfront in 2005 when i lived in Florida and the entire album reminds me of working all over the east coast. Listened to that album literally every day.
I’ve known about this band for so long and I’ve never really been able to get into their music but I think this new album might be the one, I can feel it.
Who keeps thinking they are unknown and under rated, they have the right amount of everything, they know they’re good, and they just keep playing from the heart and doing their own thing.
Been listening since arrival and departures. High school nostalgia.. saw someone else say it. These guys are so underrated. I always share Silverstein with my buddies whenever I can. This song is fucking badass.. march 6th is on the calendar baby!! Woo!!
Can’t wait to see you guys for the 10th time!! Meet and greet for the 4th time! Btw bringing my niece, she loves you guys and it’s her first rock concert!!

Saw them at Four Chord Music Festival last summer with Bad Religion, Descendents, and a ton of other great bands. Great show, and these guys killed it.

Can we talk about how daddy status Shane is now? I mean damn he looks great with a beard and aviators, love how he goes over his beard when the guitar solo hits. Great album had it on repeat all week.
Damn, this video totally describes the current mess I'm in right now. I love how I can relate to most of Silverstein songs on most times. Love this band and hope to hear more from them!
Great song AND Video. Still love these guys and cherish the framed flier on my wall from when we got to open for them at Valentines in Upstate NY over a decade ago. Keep killing it brothers. You are an inspiration.
Wow. A real banger! The guitar solo, Paul Marc's vocals, all of it! Like everyone's saying, it's amazing how long they've been so consistently great. So few bands have achieved what Silverstein has! First time I saw them was 4 days after my 14th birthday, back in 2006, with Aiden and Scary Kids Scaring Kids. I'm so excited to see them for probably the 15th or so time next month. I've seen them more than any other band but am always so consistently pumped to see them again!

Is that confirmed? Most of those seem like quite a stretch lol
@@daffysm Not confirmed. Just my observation and an ambitious attempt to make connections to Silverstein lore (musical lore?). Having fun with the song.
Confirmed. But you’re missing the Discovering reference of “hand in the ocean” like the man on the cover
A lot more poetic than the way they did it than ice nine kills on rocking the boat but that’s awesome.
HOW ARE THEY STILL THIS DAMN GOOD?!
They keep what they're good at. Most bands are getting "gayer" over time. Lol

How can they KEEP putting out good music? Most bands that have been around as long as they have would have fallen off 10 years ago.
So true. We have followed them since When Broken is Easily Fixed.
Cause they actually have talent and don't follow trends.
they did fall off. Nothing they've put out touches Discovering The Waterfront
@@itguy8671 Lol. Okay dude.
this is garbage compared to their other albums.
One of the most underrated bands of this generation
Kinda lol. When you put them toe to toe with other emo/post-hardcore bands like MCR and The Used, etc.
But still they keep getting better and better, they just need soke recognition
still my favorite band so far
LOL
And they sound so clean live
imagine ignoring your 'first band' for years and they come out and attack you personally like this.
I just can’t believe they know who I am. Damn.
This band have taken post-hardcore to a whole new level. Silverstein never dissapoint

I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep breaking down
I never deal with it
Drown cause I don't wanna swim
I'm good with
Bad habits
I know this is how I get
I take a small thing and get obsessed
But I don't care what anyone says
It's just me and my demons left
I believe in all my doubts
I could be good but I need to calm down
But I'm back on my bullshit now
I'm running back to a burning house
Why pay for my mistakes
I get them for free
Why do I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep breaking down
I never deal with it
Drown cause I don't wanna swim
I'm good with
Bad habits
Left home fist full of stones
Unpacked in a new glass condo
Cut my teeth biting my own tongue
Left no short song unsung
Took a chance on a melody
Laid down where the train should be
Rescued by a hand in the ocean
Now I'm alive in the wind's reflection
Why pay for my mistakes
I get them for free
Why do I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep breaking down
I never deal with it
Drown cause I don't wanna swim
I'm good with
Bad habits
Slow down
The broken record's still spinning
Drop 45 to 33
I'm sinking
Lower lower lower
I'm sinking
Lower lower lower
I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep breaking down
I never wanted to quit
Cause I'm good with it
I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep breaking down
I never deal with it
Drown cause I don't wanna swim
I'm good with
Bad habits
Why do I keep chasing
Bad feelings
I keep chasing
Bad feelings (Down, I never deal with it)
I keep chasing
Bad feelings (Drown cause I don't wanna swim)
I'm good with
Bad habits
