The only thing is the ocean water is freezing up in Maine. From York Beach in the south, Old Orchard Beach where your at, it's cold. Myself and immediate family members owned & own Summer Seasonals for the last 35+ yrs. at the Maine beaches. Sometimes we get used to it but only sometimes.
I lived in Pensacola. Got used to the water being 80+ degrees. Maine ocean water is so cold that it makes my feet go numb within seconds. But The kids don’t mind and the beaches are beautiful and dramatic. We always have fun.
*GREAT video..... Gotta LOVE Old Orchard Beach, man .... (I've been going there since i was like 10, with my parents of course ...) Now Im 60 and OOB STILL my favorite getaway, and only about 2 hr drive north !!*
Just found your videos looking for popup repair stuff and have been binging. I love how stoked you are to spend time with your family. So great to see.
Thank you my friend! Can't think of a better way to get everyone together without distractions AND have so much fun together! I truly appreciate your feedback.
Live in Vermont & Just got back from OOB ! (had a varied hotel experience )- looking into camping for next year 2022. Wanna be that close to the ocean! Thank you for sharing this!
Wife and I with Mom and Dad are taking our vacation here next year, were really excited, we love this entire area of Southern Maine. Awesome beautiful vlogging and scenery, and family fun, all the very best.
We’ve been there before and always enjoy it!! Most dramatic beaches I’ve ever seen. Popham is my fav!! We’re coming back in August 🙏👍 Thank you for the feedback 😎🤗
@@sstressfl Ya, tourist trap. But fun watching all the Canadian people on the beach. LOL Popham beach is nice, You are getting close to where I work when you are in Popham. Take a ride past Bath Iron Works next time you goto Popham. ;-). Check out all the cool Navy ships we build as you go over the bridge.
Awesome campground. Have a great time! Someday check out Maine Rt. 11 (like VT Rt. 100) and the northern lakes region on your Suzuki if you haven't already. Ever think of a way to take the bike on your camping excursions?
Thank you! sstressfl is my internet handle I’ve been using since the mid 90s. I used to work 70+ hours per week, and do freelance... life was always insane and sleepless. It’s not anymore but the name is now just a name. 👍
Looks like everyone had a blast. We have a 10 day trip planed at the end of the month in Western NL. The kids can't wait. Love having a look at the parks you visit and seeing how much fun everyone has.
Hi Michael, as always a super video, so entertaining! Its a while since I visited Freeport, your footage brought back memories. I kind of like the idea that your popup was the only one at the campsite, often back here in the UK its the same story, it kind of makes it feel exclusive! Lesley and I both teach..we're hoping to spend most of our Summer vacation out on the road camping! Keep up the good work! Steve from Wales, UK
Popups are definitely becoming more rare 🤗 we got 14.6 mpg towing over the white mountains to Maine. Pretty fantastic! Our family has so much fun with this thing. Maine is beautiful. Such dramatic shoreline (as you know). I appreciate the feedback and hope you continue to enjoy your camping season in the UK 🙏😎
@@patrickwaldrich I had a 7 and it had amazing stabilization. I could not even fathom that they could improve on it, but they did! I think you'll like the 8 a lot :)
I love old orchard and hidden pines go there every single year since like 2012 or 13
I am from there. Saco Biddeford area.
I also recommend the water park I forget what it is called but its like 5-8 minutes from hidden pines they also have a waterfall near there its pretty
We went to Splashtown a few years ago! That was fun! Its a real joy to camp in that area.

Glad you made it back to Maine, awesome video! What do you use to hold your GoPro? Gimbal?
Thank you! The GoPro is on a mini tripod. Nothing fancy. The silky smooth stabilization comes from the freakish technology built into the gopro 8!
