I haven’t been into makeup much lately. I’m dealing with three skin cancer wounds, have had several on my face, but fortunately these are on my legs. All this to say, I still love watching your videos and reading your random and profound thoughts. You’re such an uplifting person and our heavenly Fathers light shines so brightly through you. PS: Please keep me in your prayers. I have been dealing with these skin cancers for about nine years now and they just seem to be coming more frequently. I definitely believe in the power of prayer and need you on my prayer team. God bless you and yours always!

The summer to fall transition is my favorite time of the year for makeup!! Love when bronzes turn warmer. Peach and purples together. Terracottas, berries! Love it all!! I picked up the L’Oréal shadow stick, and you were not joking! The slide is like no other. I was looking for something to replace my Laura Mercier “cocoa”, and I found it! “Brown abyss” isn’t as deep, but I love it!! 🤎🧡💛
Another good shadow stick with staying power is the Ulta brand ones. I found them randomly and used Ulta points for them, very happy! I think they're $10 each so that may be pricier than the Loreal
Almost 9 months postpartum and it's taken me a longggg time to start feeling like "myself" again. Just watching your video just reminds me of who i was before and some fun things that just make me feel like a warm hug. Thanks for being that warm hug today when i didn't even realize i needed it. 🥰

Jen Phelps had a video on bronzer placement. I used to use bronzer as a contour, but now I put bronzer where it's designed to go - across cheeks/nose/forehead, where the sun would hit the face. I didn't realize contouring my face made my cheeks look droopy until I did a side by side. .

That Sydney Grace pallet is a true representation of fall. Your look reminds me of the trees with the leaves changing colors. I just tried the mascara you are using and it’s fabulous for my lashes. What a beautiful look, Em! If I try to update my holiday decor for any of the holidays, my kids will start asking where things are that they remember from their childhood. They want their kids to have those same memories from Mimi’s house, so my holidays are an eclectic mix of decorations from the last 37 years. And I gotta say I love it. Everything I pull out has a memory attached, and that’s what the holidays are all about. Creating memories with loved ones. ❤️

My cue for Fall is when the PSL comes out 😅 I used to decorate only for Halloween, but this year my local dollar store really stepped it up for Fall decor, and I fell in haha such pretty oranges, purples, reds, dusty blues 😍

I think the difference between intuition and anxiety is that intuition is a calm "Knowing" that what you feel or hear within is Truth. If anxiety arrives it's one of two things for me: either I'm just being paranoid OR I'm receiving intuition but I'm not trusting myself. And that's when I second guess what I feel etc. But I will say, even when I'm not trusting myself because I don't want the feeling to be true, and I start second guessing my God given intuition - there's STILL that deep Knowing, and it doesn't leave me.. ❤
Also, I don't feel it in my "gut", I've always felt it in the center of my chest, and sometimes I HEAR, in my heart that shoots to my brain the exact reason my intuition has been activated. For example, I will hear a gender neutral voice say, "She is withholding information, don't trust her". Just an example, but the voice will tell me, then immediately in my heart I am solidified, and loyal to the thought because I know it didn't come from me. But a greater source. ❤🙏🏻👼🏻✨

Emily, when you mentioned 90’s decor, the things that flooded my brain! I love that cute country look too! My mom had this little wooden grey plate with wee apples, some whole, some cut, one with a bite out of it and a wee knife it was so cute! When I say small the plate the biggest piece was maybe 2” to 2 1/2” across…. Then later you said bring it into the chat referring to one of the shadows and I remembered CHAT ROOMS! Hahaha! What a fun trip down memory lane… beautiful look as usual 😊 that is the only new SG palette I didn’t get and I am kicking myself now 😂

Since it’s still winter in Australia, I’ve been using the Maybelline skin tint (a little too dark) and mixing it with the Revlon illuminance tint (a little light) and it’s the best combination.

One of my favorite fall cosmetics is a blush by Sephora it’s #16 “Heated”, it’s the perfect dusty rose for fall, also the ELF bite sized eyeshadow pallet called “Berry Bad”, it’s got great cranberry colors,,, LOVE your channel Em, God Bless! ❤️❤️❤️💄💄💄

Yesterday hit a feels like of 109 here! Feeling like 88 at 1750, I’m so over this. I don’t wear makeup much right now due to health but I’d sweat it all off if I did.
Omg, I feel ya!! I cannot stand this kind of heat, ruins makeup, no matter what you do! I even got me two different hand held fans to carry around, lol and all they do is blow hot air. It's miserable! I'm SO ready for fall, it's my absolute favorite season. My mood even gets better, because the heat will have me feeling aggravated. I used to love summer, but as I've gotten older and the heat is more than it used to be, I can't stand it.
