I've never considered standard plastic wrap to be remotely safe in an oven, even at a fairly low temp. Is this just standard commercial kitchen wrap or something meant for the heat?
It is also protected by the foil. If it were just plastic wrapped and not topped with foil, the plastic will melt. Also, if the temp is too hot, the plastic will get crusted and burnt to the edges of the pan which is a HUGE P.I.T.A. to scrub off.
Why aren’t there more subscribers to this channel as these are awesome recipes/approaches to bbq.
