I got 21 kills in bgs yesterday using ur overworld farming build 😅. Accept i used the new chest piece that has the spirit that roams around 🤷♂️. 2700 res 14.5 dmg 14.56 cr... worked just fine honestly. Not a crowd control build but works well against one or 2 others and the skills revamp pretty quickly.
Nice! I can definitely see it popping off in PVP sometimes, especially because of how good arcane torrent is. Haven't tried it out in PVP yet myself but you're making me want to try haha!
I only use fire skills in challenge rifts. I use electric skills for solo overworld farming and arcane spells/modifiers in dungeons/team events and ice/slow time in pvp to wall and kite.
Switched to this build and it breathed life into my wizard for me. I was wondering if everlasting torment secondary effect would be better for primary attack speed than the one that just gives a flat constant buff. Obviously 5 star gems are the end goal lol.
I'm glad you're liking it! My favorite part of Wizard is how the builds feel so different from each other whenever we get new essences. Everlasting torment is definitely good, synergizes well with banquet set too if you're using that. And hey, if you mainly focus on PVE you don't even need to worry about 5 stars 🙂
Thanks - this is very useful. However if you are holding set pieces, let’s say issatar, then why does the game offer you different pieces from different sets with higher rankings when you find them? If you don’t take the new set item and keep let’s say your existing set item (issatar) the game will rank your upgrade gear lower and will message you if you try to salvage the new item that it’s a higher rank than your existing set item.
With the changes from last patch, id recommend focusing on gem effects that provide damage or other utility. I would still highly recommend trying to fit a blood soaked jade, any star level and rank. Something like this: Pain Clasp Mother's lament Bloody reach Berserkers Eye Everlasting torment Power and command Cutthroats grin (not sure how the stacking works with mother's lament though)

What is the best way to get gold? I see you have 7.5 million which seems crazy to me. I just reached hell 6 and I'm always hovering around 100-200k and I dont gamble much or anything like that. I would think by now I would start accumulating a lot more gold but maybe there are certain things in game that I'm not doing? Just wondering. Thanks!
Gold is a bit weird in that when you have a lot, it feels like you can't do anything with it but when you run out it feels so hard to get. Vault as a shadow is definitely the best way, but of course you're capped to 40 vault chests per week. I wanna say that it's around 500k-ish gold per week but I don't pay a lot of attention. I always cap vault chests as shadow and make sure I'm not in parties where people will open chests on 4th floor without beating immortals yet, as that will cost you gold/hilts. As immortal you get weekly gold, but not as much as shadows raiding the vault. Daily things I do for gold is just hidden lairs / dungeons to cap normal gem drops (or as close as I can get before logging off for the day) I use treasure hunter the whole time too which will give some extra gold. Make sure you don't go beyond 10 gambles per day on each item, the cost increase isn't worth further gambling
I might go for snowstorm build for a bit more crowd control as firestorm build tends to gather mobs around before unleash all the skills for damage. Just need lightning nova to trigger firestorm i guess. Personally tested the arcane torrent with the new essence. Very potent. Especially when paired with seeping bile. For pve, asside from the 2 essence for arcane torrent, i used the fire lightning nova, siphon and searing judgement. So it gives me a lot of mobility and trigger my 6pc banquet as well. So do you have any pvp build in mind?
I really want to try out the 2 arcane torrent essence combo in PVP, but as a low res player I think it'll be inconsistent since that will certainly be a battle mage type build. I could see it being amazing as an Immortal defending the vault and skipping strong shadow groups though For pvp I've been sticking with kind of an old build, fire disintegrate, freezing ice crystal, traveling black hole, teleport with invisibility. Of course switching from grace set into the new banquet set though

This build is weak to beam wiz, so I tried counter that with the new shoulder essence that reduce continous damage taken. Usually is activate ice armour, slow time and jump in with teleport and activate arcane torrent and give chase to put them inside slow time(new essence). So far I like it

All depends on if you play PVP or not. For players wanting to PVP, just you best 3+/5 gems for resonance and trying to focus on the better gems if you can get a hold of them For players only caring about PVE damage, you'd still want blood soaked jade and 5 other 1 or 2 stars increasing damage based on which build you prefer. Berserkers Eye, Bloody Reach, Pain Clasp, even Caarsens is really good since most are semi primary attack focused
The clone is from the "Echoing Shade" legendary gem. It's a 5 star gem, but up to rank 4 is totally realistic completely F2P and you'll have a max of 2 clones at that rank :)
If you can't use the new chest correctly it would be frustrating. But I'm the weakest in my wb and the only INT class but I'm always getting CoG. Only difference between our builds is I'm using the Sprightspark chest, winter's Eye ice storm off hand, and the shoulders that slows enemies by 40% from using ice armor
Yeah I can't seem to get Sprightspark to be as good as I hear people talk about. Definitely good enough for farm content but couldn't get good results otherwise. Let me know if you do anything specific to make it good!
@@kras5785 2pc vithus, 2 pc grace and 2pc issatar: 1.8 sec CD for speed form (lightning orb chest), and movement speed from killing with increased dot dmg and duration since half your skills (torrent main hand and new chest) are buffs. You moving very fast and hitting extremely hard. Plus with Low cooldowns all you doing is timing your skills right. Stay on top.of enemies and do all your dmg while maneuvering from dangers quickly. You can run torrent and orb chest in bg too for devastating results
And your orb form is even faster b/c of vithus and with bottled hope and other buff boosters, youre almost invisible to mobs and players in pvp (like how quick monks are, don't see em til they're doing dmg)
I run bottled hope (this will proc all the time for you), frozen heart shield/control), botw(control-denial), pain clasp (passive boost), fervent fang(great for aoe dmg booster-perfect for wizzes) and gloom cast (for those moments I need to be "ranged" or am more distanced- to heal, rez someone or reset my skill rotation astill be doing extra boosted dmg with primary as aoe.) It's allowed me to get CoG in my wb despite being the only left in the 14k CR bracket

It drops anywhere but it depends on which hell difficulty your currently playing on, so if you want to get riftcarver you need to be playing on h7 difficulty and get a legendary weapon drop for a chance to get it.

Yeah arcane intensifiers does work on dungeon bosses. Not sure about raid bosses though

Try the arcane orb helm or the electric stunnign orb. Youd be quite surprised how they work.
